Russian forces are firing rockets at a physics institute in the city of Kharkiv that contains nuclear material and a reactor which could lead to a 'large-scale ecological disaster' if hit, according to Ukraine's national security service.
The service said on Facebook on Sunday that the Russians were firing at the Kharkiv Institute of Physics and Technology from Grad launchers. Missiles fired from Grad launchers do not have precise targeting, raising concern that one could damage the reactor and release deadly radiation across Europe.
The science institute houses the Neutron Source nuclear research facility and contains 37 nuclear fuel cells in its core, according Ukrainian foreign minister Emine Dzheppar.

Think longer term. Right now the winds in the Ukraine are running north to south. In spring, starting in roughly April they change to run east to west and remain that way for quite awhile.
Look at the dispersal pattern for Chernoybl from May of 1986 for an example.
Putin wouldn't need a nuclear launch at least initially. With some conventional explosives he could turn Western Europe( Nato) into a nuclear human no go zone by using the Ukraine as a potential giant dirty bomb. The panic and economic dislocation would be enormous. There would be some overlap back into Russia but I believe the Russians would accept it.
We are living in interesting times and the situation is spiraling out of control.

Bullshit

Distant view of several black smoke columns and possible fuel depot fire. nothing else.
The first plant attack proved false

So the videos of explosions and the tracer fire into the Zaporizhzhia plant was from some video game?
The plant was under the Russian control for quite some time. Some guys opened fire on their patrol from the office building nearby and then set the building on fire. Someone else filmed the smoke and started to scream that the plant was on fire. It is another provocation of propaganda value.
Yep the Russian would never commit any such atrocity - must all be Nazi Ukraine propaganda
Oh well!
Invasions do have consequences.
Exactly. Another hint that this is just another propaganda story by the Daily Mail. Way too over-the-top to be reasonable; you'd think they could do better than this.
What is the point of doing so, from the Russian perspective? How many of similar hoaxes were already debunked over last 10 days?
.
There are videos on the internet showing Russian soldiers alongside the well-armed UKR plant security force at Zaporizhia, with the plant still operating with its regular employees. And the electricity is still on in Kiev, by the way.
All of the Western media is showing only one side, and the dominant social media are blocking all contrary accounts. That alone should make people ask questions.
Were is the real evidence that this is even true? And if there is evidence the institute has been hit then were is the evidence that Russia did it.
I guess there must be more money in making or distributing war and covid Fear Porn than there is in doing real porn???
Why? Because the MSM tells them. That is all that is needed for the mental types that listen to outfits like CNN.
I mean, c’mon, these are the same sorts of inbred idiots that believe that >half of the votes were cast for BeijingBiden.
Right, Russians never use propaganda and are always truthful which is why the have Pravda ...
Where did I claim it? Regarding this conflict, the debunked propaganda is mostly coming from the Ukrainian side.
