Well there is Vodka for one. They make some software. Telegram Messenger was developed by Russians.

Computer security sofware Kaspersky is also Russian. It was viewed as a fine product until it is suspected to have ties to Russian government and subsequently banned by U.S. and many media outlets.

You are the one who changed subject from tire to iphone, not me.

You brought in fighter jets. So I brought in the amazing Chinese hypersonic missiles. The you go crying to mama. Figures.

By the way, snow melted now. It is muddy season,

Temperature in Kyiv right now is 0 degrees C, feeling like -3 and “snow has melted” huh? What planet you living on?

Why jump from tire to iphone? You should have sticked to tire issue. I would have stopped if you did.

They’re the same Chinese who produced the hazardous drywall that was exported to the U.S. from 2001-2009. It was found to be defective, containing high levels of the sulfurous gases – carbon disulfide, carbonyl sulfide, and hydrogen sulfide. These emissions, which have the odor of rotten eggs, worsen as temperature and humidity rise. This drywall was imported, and used in 20 U.S. States and created an environmental and health hazard. It was used mostly in Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama after Hurricane Katrina in 2005.

Because you were blathering on about the quality of products made in China. Best way to counter that is mention the super high quality iphones which are made in China by Chinese.

I’m referring more on a grand Industrial scale.

Cars, Robotics, Airplanes, Logistics building etc.

Mexico at least makes concrete on a worldwide scale.

I wonder if Kaspersky is going to be banned from sale in Western nations?

I asked some people who have studied Russian military doctrine. Their answer is that these Russians are following their standard battle doctrine. They are standing off beyond potential artillery range from the defenders in the city and have positioned forward artillery of the own to pound the defenders while they prepare supplies and troops for the final assault.

THANK YOU! Despite the propaganda spread by the lockstep media and its (think tank funded) celebrity experts, no military observer actually believes the Russian columns are stalled, broken down, or out of fuel. These are orderly formations of combat, combat support, and combat service support units, forward positioned behind the battle lines -- evidence that Russia has yet to commit its full weight to the fight while Ukraine's negotiating positions are steadily crumbling.

A notable departure from Russia's standard doctrine has been its relatively sparing use of artillery so far. The same has been true of its limited use of air strikes - which have been announced in advance with calls for nearby civilians to move away from danger. These doctrinal departures further indicate that Moscow is "holding back" to avoid civilian casualties. Just my observations...

The Chinese have made some products that are not so great, like most other countries, especially in the past.
But they make great products too.
Most of our HDTVs, laptops smart phones etc share made in China.

I guess the upside is that they kill more of their own people each year with their shoddy production practices, than they do Americans.

Barely around freezing temperature. If you see some pictures from Ukraine now, you see a lot of mud.

You seemed to have changed while I have been away from FR. For some reason this Russia issue is driving everybody crazy.

This is stupid.

The convoy isn’t “stalled”. It’s the supply chain for their armed forces.

I have Hankook tires on my Nissan. They sound Chinese. Hope they are better then the ones in the convoy.

A few years ago my Harley mechanic tried me to try some Hankook tires. I told him if he put ANYTHING Korean on my Harley it better be 19 and leave a wet spot on the seat.

China bomb tires are a well-known phenomenon in the RV world. That’s why I immediately replace my travel trailer tires with Goodyear Endurance tires that are made in the USA. Looks like the Russian military is learning that lesson the hard way.
