I’m glad you posted this. I just had an appointment with my primary care doctor this past week, and I was going to ask him who would be calling the shots if I ended up in a local hospital, and would it be him. But I forgot to ask.
You answered my question by what you asked your doctor and the answer she gave. So it is the hospital Doctor that calls the shots. I’m going to call my local hospital and try to find out what their protocol is and the same for other reasonably close local hospitals. I also want to know after this FL bill is passed, will it make any difference as to the current protocols being followed by these hospitals, as I live in FL (you go Gov).

It tried getting HCQ in Florida and Georgia last year. I experienced extreme HCQ hesitancy from my doctors.
I couldn’t find anyone to sell HCQ mail order without a prescription. Then shortly before the last election I was able to order it. I had to pay extra (around $20 or $30) for express shipping. It was held up by customs for about three weeks. I wish I had bought more.
I ordered Ivermectin from oversees. It never arrived. I’m hesitant to do it again.
This article sounds positive, but I’m not optimistic. Doctors can slow roll this until you are dead. Even if you can find a doctor who will prescribe HCQ or Ivermectin once you are infected, the timing is not optimal. You should really have a stash in your medicine cabinet available the moment you think you need it.
I believe I read that Ivermectin can be taken once a month as a prophylactic. But of course, you have to get it first.

My daughter purchased ivermectin. I have no use for the items on that list because in Australia citizens of pension age only pay the pharmacy prescription fee for medication prescribed by their GP. Daughter had no problems with purchase.
