Townsend, not endorsed by Trump, quits House race in Arizona

State Sen. Kelly Townsend announced Friday she is withdrawing from the race for the Republican nomination for Arizona's new 6th Congressional District because former President Donald Trump hasn't endorsed her.

Despite encouragement and repeated assurances, “the promised formal endorsement has still not materialized," leaving her unable to unify the conservative vote in the August primary, Townsend said in a statement.

Townsend said she knew a Trump endorsement might be jeopardized by her recent criticism of state Sen. Wendy Rogers. Rogers has already been endorsed by Trump in her re-election race. Townsend didn't refer to Rogers by name in her statement.

Funny how a candidacy can unravel by the mere fact Trump didn't come out to endorse it. He doesn't even have to oppose one. He can kill it just by ignoring it.

Wow!

Wendy Rogers is a fighter, and she is fighting tooth and nail to expose the 2020 election theft.

Besides this news report what else do we know about Townsend?

Do we know who else will be in the GOP primary?

The truth is people want Trump. They want people in office who will work with him to advance American interests and those whom Trump does not endorse are not winning

That’s just the truth

People can ignore it but they cannot avoid the consequences of the truth.

When people say that 33 out of 34 Trump-endorsed candidates won in Texas republican primaries the truth about that is this:

Ken Paxton has to have a runoff for AG against George P
Bush. A Bush. Not some guy who happens to be related to the Bush family. Nope. A Bush. Think Liz Cheney. Dana Perino. GHWB. All pro abortion lib wives. Jeb

George P. Who went to Mara Lago in search. Ok.

Now enter Louis Gohmert. Mudslinging. Ken Paxton has legal problems what? He did what? We don’t know. But all the Pearl clutching I hate
oh Louis Gohmert is so good. Bla bla bla

Never mind that Paxton has been an outstanding AG. Goes on all the true conservative shows answering questions. Explaining. While Louis Gohmert goes out there with a very shaky voice not giving any reason whatsoever for running against Ken Paxton, but none. And George P halo over his head says nothing bad about Paxton yet he’s the true contender. And Louis says zip about George P

And now Paxton has to face the Bush team. The money the power. From out of nowhere

The Pearl clutchers who love to say I like trump but oh my friend says she knows him and he’s rude

They believe anything bad about Paxton and don’t see what happened there

They gave Louis Gohmert who likely never intended to win 17 points meant for Paxton

That’s the 33 out of 34 instead of 34.

If that is her attitude, then she doesn’t deserve to win anyway.

Good post. If Gohmert is indeed a Bush helpmate then it’s time for him to retire.

After Jeff Sessions, who caused THE ENTIRE Mueller fiasco, we’ve had enough of traitors in our midst.

Rogers has already been endorsed by Trump in her re-election race.

If Trump had already endorsed her opponent, why would she expect an endorsement?

We know she is a carpet bagger that bought an empty lot in Tombstone right before she declared so she would have an address in the district. After redistricting, she couldn’t have won where she lives.

Others in the primary are Brandon Martin, Young Mayberry, Katherine Winn and, Juan Ciscomani (Ducey’s boy). There may be others but I can’t remember .

Speaking of Jeff Sessions aka Keebler Elf,
has he come out with a book yet?
If seems everyone who went away mad is running back to the cameras with their brand new book all about Trump.

Pray for Paxton.....show the Bushes and Gohmert like politicians to go to hell! I had heard sometime back the elites wanted Paxton out. I hope Texas voters see this and vote for Paxton....a Bush or someone who supports them should be the kiss of death!

People do not see that establishment rinos are terrible.

They don’t see that someone trying to help us like Paxton or Trump and Paxton is definitely working for and enacting Trump policies, are maligned. They think oh he’s in trouble with the government he must be bad. So they reject them.

It is amazing how sheep like Republican voters are.

I don’t care what line gohmert feeds me. What has he done. What did he do in this primary. Look at the consequences.

People don’t do that. Texans are particularly bad about it.

There’s something about Gohmert that I just can’t get excited about. He’s goofy...there I said it. At the time I said he could do better in the Congress I didn’t know he had given up his seat to run against Paxton. Double goofy. Me and my family washed our hands of the Bushes long ago. I didn’t vote for the P nor would I ever vote for the P....a nut doesn’t fall far from the tree. Like I said previously a lot of us are trimming the Bushes here in Texas......I just pray enough are come May.

Sorry to hear that Kelly Townsend has withdrawn her candidacy. I liked her interviews on the news shows. I hope she stays in politics.

I liked Louis Gohmert because he occasionally discusses politics on Christian radio. But if he’s helping a Bush, he would lose my trust. Enough of that.
