Russia is not our real issue - it is China. Compared to China Russia is a Chihuahua and far less dangerous to America.. Get a clue.

[Russia is not our real issue - it is China. Compared to China Russia is a Chihuahua and far less dangerous to America.. Get a clue.]

A Russia with Europe in its paws would be a much bigger danger than China. The point being that we can’t really choose between the two, any more than we could choose between Japan, Italy and Germany. We need Europe to help fight China. Russia is our natural enemy because it, like China, wants to conquer the world.

Two world-conquering powers can’t be real friends. But they can’t really be friends with us either. We’re kind of in the way of their quest for glory via land grabs. And this is not some new thing. Peter and Catherine have “the Great” as appellations because they added territory to the realm they inherited (in Catherine the German’s case, ripped off from her hubby by murdering him). Like all world-conquering powers, Russia and China share a common, yet conflicting world view - the world consists of two types of lands: current and future provinces/oblasts.

So where’s the conflict? Ultimately, there can be only one world-conquering power, much as Risk ends only when one player remains. Except they are playing Risk with real people and real weaponry, much as other leaders have done since pretty much the first tribal chieftain attacked his neighbor.

Now you might say - surely he’s simply struggling to stay in power or compelled by circumstances. That’s a middle American petit bourgeois perspective. We have bills to pay, children to send off to college, etc. People like Xi and Putin are way beyond this. Both have all the money they can spend in hundreds of lifetimes.

Thanks to the Panama Papers, we know a sliver of Xi’s wealth came to $400m *before* he came to power:

Similarly, Putin was estimated to be worth at least $200b, and that was almost 10 years ago:

https://nypost.com/2015/02/16/investor-putin-could-be-worlds-richest-man-with-stolen-200b-fortune/

Putin’s mansion comes with its own strip club:

They are kings in all but name, secure within their domains. They are bored. More money than ways to spend it. Been there, done that. With one exception - the conquest and annexation of land and the pacification of restive populations - the sport of kings, Risk with real men and real weaponry.

They don’t do this because it’s easy. They do it because it’s difficult. Same reason that mountain climbers are always looking for the next peak. Anybody with serious money can buy an expensive airplane or mansion. How many can write themselves into the history books by conquering an entire country?

I know your brain is mush so I will help you out: Russia and China are allies dedicated to destroying us, meaning the real issue is Russia and China. Not to mention their other allies: North Korea, Iran, etc.

What you say was known thirty years ago.

As I recall from a recent Imprimus article, back then we could have put China away as we did the Soviet Union.

Instead, the Deep State and US industry chose to become bedfellows with the Chicoms.

China needn’t fear US interference re Taiwan.

That would be bad for business.
