The Senate side is much smaller than the House side. Has the Senate side ever been used for a SOTU speech before?

Lots of Republican Senators are boycotting because you needed a covid test before hand, many like Rubio refused

Per the House’s website...

In modern practice, the State of the Union address is delivered in the House Chamber. Prior to the Capitol’s move to Washington, DC., the Annual Message was often delivered in the Senate Chamber.

The Senate chamber has not been used that I can find, at least since the capital was moved to DC. Something wrong about this.

Not watching. Sure it’s the Senate?
