Russian blogger:

An assassination attempt was being prepared against Putin. Fortunately, the attempt failed.

Four trusted sources in the FSB provided us with information about the assassination attempt. According to them, they wanted to shoot or blow up the president during one of the public events with his participation. “The attackers were preparing the assassination attempt in a rented apartment in one of the districts of Moscow. There, they collected explosives, two sniper rifles and several units of automatic weapons. The assassination attempt was also thwarted there. Fortunately, the criminals’ plan failed,” said one of our interlocutors.

According to another, the assassination attempt was prepared by two people – an active member of one of the right-wing radical groups and an officer of the Russian Armed Forces. The criminals were identified thanks to an FSO employee – he was on friendly terms with one of the attackers, and through him they were trying to get closer to Vladimir Vladimirovich. Both participants in the possible assassination attempt were eliminated during the arrest, as they tried to resist. An investigation is underway with the FSO officer who uncovered the criminal plot.

A radical's diary was found in the apartment rented by the criminals. There he wrote that the president allegedly was not coping with his duties, had let the Ukrainian army into the Kursk region and would allegedly let it go further, and that Russia would disintegrate into several parts and lose territory. At the same time, the military man who participated in the preparation of the assassination attempt repeatedly criticized Putin for the fact that Andrei Belousov, appointed by the president, “is persecuting experienced generals, causing chaos and not allowing anyone to live.” The criminals’ notes contain several names of high-ranking military personnel, some of whom are currently under arrest. An investigation is underway on this matter. The FSB notes that most likely, someone influential was behind the perpetrators , “a person or group of people who want to destabilize the situation in Russia for their own interests.” Whether this is true is difficult to say for sure yet in connection with the liquidation of the criminals. But the security forces promise to find everyone involved in this terrible crime. Which, fortunately, was thwarted.

They decided not to officially report the information, so as not to upset society, which is already having a hard time. “But through you, we want to convey a clear message to everyone who wanted to kill Vladimir Vladimirovich. We will find you. No positions, money or shoulder straps will protect you,” one of the sources in the FSB added on this matter.

The Kremlin refused to comment on the assassination attempt on Putin, noting that “there were signals, but they should not be talked about.”

The important thing is that it is described here and now, because this is not something that would have been published before the summer of 2023. Now after Prigozhin’s march on Moscow and the arrests of many generals, it indicates that Putin is on the decline.

In some aspects sounds like the July Plot (Operation Valkyrie) to blow up Hitler near the end of WW2.

The details being released and the “diary” sound like Stalin-era show trial material.

Still, Russian soldiers, Russian civilians and Russian politicians will all be asking how Putin's “Little Green Men” invasion of Crimea is now threatening the people and geographic boundaries of Russia.

What people don't realize is the depth of this Vendetta or blood feud between the people of Ukraine and those political leaders in Moscow. In the 1930’s, the Holodomor starved to death many in Ukraine. Each year in Ukraine and around the world there is a remembrance of that Moscow caused genocide. Many in Ukraine have grand parents, or grand uncles and aunts that were killed in that genocide.

There is an acute shortage of personnel in the police, especially in the regions, said Deputy Head of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs Vladimir Kubyshko at the 10th All-Russian Youth Educational Forum “Territory of Meanings”.

According to him, the district departments of the Russian regions that Kubyshko visited often have several times fewer employees than they should normally have. In one of the departments, six people worked instead of forty.

“There is a huge shortage. But all of their remaining tasks are carried out selflessly. When you talk to them, everyone understands the situation our country is in,” the deputy minister said (quoted by TASS). In October 2023, the head of the financial and economic department of the agency, Irina Kalbfleisch, said that the Ministry of Internal Affairs was short 100 thousand employees . According to her, the level of police salaries is not competitive, while at the same time, “the issue of having a police officer on the street is very acute and urgent.”

At that time, Kalbfleisch noted that the 2024 budget does not provide for the planned indexation of police salaries at the legislative level, which does not allow “to meet all the financial needs” of the department. The head of the agency's contractual and legal department, Oleg Vetrov, added that the Russian National Guard also has problems with financing, primarily in new regions.

What will happen in the disintegration of Russia? No policemen who can keep order, it will be criminal gangs, company guards and oligarchs’ militias against each other.

May it be so!

Russian blogger:

Belousov invited Putin to pray together for the Kursk region. But was refused

According to our sources in the Ministry of Defense, Andrei Belousov invited the president to pray at the relics of Saint Matrona of Moscow. Let us recall that they are planned to be sent to the religious procession against the Ukrainian offensive in Kursk. But at the moment it is unknown when it will take place. “Andrei Removich invited Vladimir Vladimirovich to pray together for several hours for victory over the enemy - in the Kursk region and along the entire front. He was refused. And he himself prayed to Mother Matronushka. We will win!” - said a source in the entourage of the Minister of Defense.

The Kremlin confirmed the president's refusal to us, but did not explain the reason. We assume that the refusal is connected with the recent disclosure of an assassination attempt on Putin and the strengthening of security measures by Vladimir Vladimirovich's guards. However, the sources also refuse to comment on this version. Some interlocutors hint that the president is dissatisfied with Belousov. But they refuse to go into details. We will find out what really happened and tell you when we get fully verified information.
