SVR General 22AUG2022:
On the evening of August 20, Darya Dugin, the daughter of the ideologist of “Russian fascism” Alexander Dugin, died. We have information, with details about the death of Daria, the authenticity of which does not cause us any doubts. Moreover, we are sure that for many of those who personally know Alexander Dugin, our material will only confirm the assumptions.

About a month ago, Alexander Dugin had a face-to-face conversation with his good acquaintance, an FSB general, and this conversation was recorded by the general. During the conversation, Dugin laments about the “wrong way” that the Russian leadership chose in conducting a special military operation, about insufficient measures, about Putin's lack of determination to “wage a real, big war until the enemy is completely defeated,” etc. Dugin began by saying that an ideology without the author's willingness to make great sacrifices is only a utopia. Dugin said he thought a lot about why this is so, what is holding Putin back from “decisive action” and how it can be fixed. Further, Alexander told an incident that happened to him during a walk: walking through the streets thinking about how to help the president “save the country from falling into the abyss” and give Putin the impetus to rethink the situation and move him to take decisive action. Dugin saw a black-and-white kitten that was sitting on someone's fence in the yard and, at the sight of Alexander, walked along the fence towards him, waving his paw, “evaporated”, and after walking another hundred and fifty meters, he saw a very similar kitten, only dead. And then, according to Dugin, he realized that this was “a sign of fate.” He is a worthless person if he is not ready to sacrifice the most precious thing he has for the sake of the triumph of his ideas. And then, according to Dugin, he realized that this was “a sign of fate.” He is a worthless person if he is not ready to sacrifice the most precious thing he has for the sake of the triumph of his ideas. And then, according to Dugin, he realized that this was “a sign of fate.” He is a worthless person if he is not ready to sacrifice the most precious thing he has for the sake of the triumph of his ideas.

Dugin himself offered to sacrifice his daughter, which caused misunderstanding among the interlocutor. But Alexander spoke quite brightly and convincingly. He personally told the general that Putin also has daughters, and he will perceive the death of his (Dugin’s) daughter at the hands of “Western special services” as a personal tragedy and grief, and at that moment there will be a turning point in his creation, supposedly Putin must understand that the enemy sees weakness, that the enemy will stop at nothing, and the president's daughters may be next, so the enemy must be destroyed on the battlefield and victory won. The recording of the conversation was transferred directly to the Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, Nikolai Patrushev, after which the aforementioned general was summoned to him. A few days later, another conversation between the general and Dugin took place, which was already recorded by the FSB,

The general suggested that Alexander make a forgery, organize the alleged murder of Dugin’s daughter, and in reality bring Daria out, placing the corpse of an outside woman disfigured beyond recognition, but Dugin resolutely rejected this proposal, saying that if the truth is revealed it will be a disaster for everyone. Subsequently, Alexander was contacted at least two more times and he confirmed his determination. The assassination attempt was prepared by the FSB and took two weeks. The date was not chosen by chance, and this event was really presented to Putin as the revenge of “Western curators of Navalny for his failed poisoning”, which, of course, is complete nonsense, but it had an effect on the president and quite impressively. Dugin himself knew neither the details of the assassination nor the timing; for him it was a kind of “surprise”. We will see what consequences this high-profile murder will have in the near future. But such sacrifices are usually in vain, Dugin’s empathy for the president is greatly overestimated.

The rumor mill is spinning:

Dugina was involved in the theft of money that the Kremlin allocated to finance the election campaign in France - Le Pen. The money never reached Marina. The same thing happened with the European anti-globalists. The girl is a rat. But they wanted to remove their daughter and father.

More from the mill

Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev is in a critical condition in the hospital . Doctors are fighting for his health. According to our information, on Friday evening Patrushev suffered a heart attack. They hardly managed to save him, now his condition is better than on Friday, but in general it is still far from normalization. The deterioration of health is associated with stress and natural causes (Patrushev is 70 years old). Interestingly, he suffered a heart attack after new rumors that he allegedly wants to take Putin’s place in the event of his death or removal.

and;

A lot of these details are still “fog of war” (or in this case “fog of crime”) type stuff; so please take everything with a pinch of salt. In the course of the investigation, all the details of the incident will be clarified. However, an important clarification was already delivered by the experts: As to the question whether the bomb was on a timer or remote control, the answer already came in: Remote control. This fact has huge ramifications.

WarGonzo blogger Semyon Pegov points out that the person who pressed the remote-control button to ignite the bomb, would have been in visual contact with the car and its occupant: “In other words, the terrorists who were supposedly out to blow Dugin up in his own car, would have observed, how Darya got into the car instead. Not the original target. And then they would have had to make a decision: To blow up, or not to blow up? And they took the decision: Go ahead and blow up the daughter. So, Darya became the new target. And this is, it goes without saying, an entirely new level of terrorism. Not even your average ISIS terrorist would take such a low step.”

4.1 and 4.2 are not mutually exclusive, and likely are both true.

Kamil Galeev
On Darya Dugina’s death

Darya was an ambitious young woman. She leveraged her father’s *international* brand to build herself a network in Russia. She was indeed smarter than an average golden kid and viewed herself as a potential national leader

In the last months she would not shut up about bad Russian military performance. She constantly criticised Shoygu (privately) and insisted that if *she* was a minister of defence, it’d be alright. For some reason, she was trying to pitch herself a a minister of defense, Idk why

Becoming a minister of defence was a new topic that emerged only recently. Previously to that, she was obsessed with Le Pen. She constantly talked about how great, amazing and misunderstood Marine Le Pen is, boasted how well she knew her and clearly viewed Le Pen as a role model

What was interesting about Darya was an extreme contrast between her public and her private discourse. Publicly, she largely followed her father’s footsteps. Publicly she complained about too gentle mode of war in Ukraine and called for the tougher measure against “nonhumans”

Here is the Russian story:
by max seddon

The FSB claims it has solved Daria Dugina’s murder. Predictably, Russia is blaming Ukrainian secret services: the FSB says a Ukrainian woman named Natalya Vovk rented a flat in Dugina’s building, trailed her, planted the car bomb, and escaped to Estonia.

A lot of odd details in this claim by the FSB:
– Natalya Vovk apparently carried out this professionalized car bombing with her 12-year-old daughter in tow
– She allegedly followed Dugina in a Mini Cooper with Kazakh, Ukrainian, and Donetsk People’s Republic plates
Also:
– The FSB is claiming Ukraine targeted Dugina, a relatively obscure media figure, and not her much better known father
– they are claiming to have solved this one awfully fast, especially when you consider how many murders of Putin opponents are still cold cases
RT’s Margarita Simonyan now says Russia should send “people to admire the spires in Tallinn” if Estonia won’t extradite the suspect in Dugina’s murder.

I’m old enough to remember how proud she was of her interview with the Salisbury poisoning suspects...

Kremlin-linked media is posting what they say is Natalya Vovk’s ID card, which identifies her as a member of the nationalist Azov regiment.

Not the most obvious thing to take with you when you plot a car bombing in Russia
Ukraine again denies any involvement in Daria Dugina’s murder and says it’s the result of elite infighting in Russia.
In Dugin’s first statement on his daughter’s death, he essentially demands Russia respond by wiping Ukraine off the map.

“Our hearts are not just thirsting for revenge or retribution. That’s too petty, it’s not the Russian way. We only need our Victory.”
Putin: “A despicable, cruel crime took Daria Dugina’s life away – a bright, talented person with a real Russian heart, kind, loving, warm, and open [...] She honestly served people and the motherland and showed what it means to be a patriot of Russia.”
The FSB publishes what it says is video of Vovk driving her Mini Cooper into Russia, entering Dugina’s apartment building, and leaving the country through Estonia.

Notable by its absence: any footage connecting Vovk with the car bombing.

According to the following, a former member of the Russian parliament (Duma) said that anti-Putin Russians did it.

Darya Dugina was killed by partisans from National Republican Army – former Russian parliamentarian

Thanks, but that is most likley “wishful thinking” by Ilya Ponomarev. Here is the most likely scenario:

Kamil who I do respect a lot, comes to the same conclusion: Dugina’s assassination was an FSB work to start repressions; Alexandr Dugin looks to be involved in the murder on his own daughter; the murder was partly seen as an esoteric “sacrifice” to supernatural powers.

https://twitter.com/sumlenny/status/1561766838824050690

Darya Dugina’s assassination was almost certainly organised by the Russian FSB. Assuming this is true, then:

1. Order must’ve been explicitly/implicitly given by Putin
2. It was Darya, not Alexander who was the target
3. Alexander knew it ofc. He’s just making show for a public

If Alexander was notified about the impending assassination of his daughter Darya, that explains the strangeness with changing cars. Alexander took *her* car, while she took his one. Why?

Most probably the plan was to present Alexander Dugin as the real target of assassination

That had an additional benefit. If we make the world believe that assassins targeted Alexander, but got Darya, the entire operation looks clumsy. It looks as if it is done by someone who does not have full control over the situation and over the territory. Not by Russians

It is the perceived clumsiness of the operation (they wanted to get a dad but got his daughter) that makes it look as if it is done by the Ukrainians. If it was done by the FSB, who fully control Moscow, they would kill the person whom they intended to kill

May be they did?
If Putin wants to escalate the war in Ukraine or political purges within Russia, he needs a pretext to justify his “outrage”. Some “terrorist attack” preferably. And Putin can’t just blow up residential houses with nonames: he had already used this trick before

An overly ambitious golden kid who:

1. Privately advertises *herself* as a person who knows how to fight a war in conversations with influential people
2. Wants to sell *herself* as the Russian nationalist leader
3. Damaged relations with her dad

would be a perfect candidature

It’s not that Putin saw Darya as a threat. That’s highly implausible. It’s much more probable that he was actively looking for a sacrificial animal and sacrificing someone troublesome kinda makes sense. Solve two problems at once: big one (pretext for escalation) and a small one

Alexander was probably notified about this decision only after it was taken. But if it was the dad who suggested his daughter as a sacrificial animal, I wouldn’t be much surprised. Perhaps, he knew what she’s telling about the great and wise Dugin behind his back. The end

#1,954 to #1,973:

Russia blames Darya Dugina’s killing on female Ukrainian assassin
Russia accuses Ukraine of killing nationalist's daughter, Putin gives her award
Russia blames Darya Dugina’s killing on female Ukrainian assassin
Did Kyiv really send a mother in a Mini to kill 'Rasputin's girl'? That's what Russia says

Etc, etc...

According to the Russians, the perpetrator is, Ukrainian, female, from Mariupol, Azov battalion, and now in Estonia. This sounds like all the other Russian propaganda and vranyo since the invasion began.

The fact that they found the politically ideal perpetrator so quickly, who's actions and current location justifies other actions, lends credence to the idea that Dugin's assassination was from within, not outside Russia.

"Quality time" and "darn fine patterning" by Russian standards.
The FSB just implicated the FSB with this and they don't care.
