I new there were quite a few Russian Jews in Israel....they’ve had many flights for a time there bringing them back to Israel. I didn’t realize there were that many there. Thanks for the info.
So it would appear since Israel has so many foreign citizens Putin might think Israel understands his positions as his nation is likewise varied...and his desire for security for Russia.....
There are so many Russian Jewish in Israel that some towns have all their signs in Hebrew, Arabic, English and Russian. Russians seem to have a big presence in their hotel industry.

Yep, in fact Russian is now an official language in Israel, along with Hebrew and Arabic (but not English). And it makes sense, since the Russian immigrants likely speak crappy English, no Hebrew, and of course no Arabic.
