Yep, in fact Russian is now an official language in Israel, along with Hebrew and Arabic (but not English). And it makes sense, since the Russian immigrants likely speak crappy English, no Hebrew, and of course no Arabic.
Interesting discussing this as I can see why Putin is interested in conferring with Israel on how they manage their country. they’re surrounded....he has Nato encroaching, they have many nationalities, so does he and Ukraine certainly has both Russian and Ukrainians. The similarities are really striking.
However the leadership in Israel and Russia is quite different in how they approach their circumstances.
