The current regime in Washington has such severe myopia they cannot see beyond their own noses.
The whole scheme behind “climate change” is not to affect the climate in any way, shape, form or manner. It is to shame and guilt the general population into obedience and conformity, the better to “manage” resources, which means, mostly, strict and highly targeted distribution of those resources to the favored persons or institutions.
The most powerful sanction that could possibly be brought against Putin, and to a lesser degree, against the Chinese Communist Party regime, is to make the US into the largest exporter of energy, as petroleum, natural gas and yes, even coal, undercutting prices from everywhere else in the world.
But to expect the current regime of Joe Stolen/”Que mala” Harris to even entertain this notion is to ask the sun not to rise in the east each morning. some things are sacred in their view of the world, and “climate change” is still one of their best weapons in debate and imposing of their will.
There is a part of me that thinks Joe and the MIC want a quick and dirty nuclear exchange, where Joe comes out a winner and we only lost 80 million people and the nuclear winter offsets climate change. Problem solved.
