Why Putin's '£15BILLION-a-day' invasion is NOT going to plan: As Ukrainian forces OBLITERATE enemy convoy, Estonia's ex-defence chief says Russia will run out of money, weapons and resources if Kyiv hold out for 10 days

Vladimir Putin’s war with Ukraine is not going to plan due to Kremlin ‘overconfidence’, poor tactical planning, and ‘shock’ at the fierce resistance put up by brave Ukrainians fighting for national survival, intelligence sources have claimed.

Dramatic video shows a destroyed Russian convoy with Z-markings near Kherson in the south of the country on the third day of fighting after Ukraine’s army held control of Kyiv and last night successfully repelled Russian advances on the capital.

Kyiv’s defence ministry has so far put Russia’s losses at around 2,800 troops, 80 tanks, 516 armoured vehicles, and 10 airplanes and seven helicopters so far.

Putin didn’t ruin America. The globalist did no matter what the media outlets say. If you don’t think the people who brazenly stole an elect, shut down businesses and refused to allow people to visit those dying in a home are capable of lying during the fog of war then I have nothing left to say to you about it.

Ten warplanes out of say 2000 operational lanes isn’t decisive.

It has occurred to me that China wants Siberia enough to push Putin off the cliff.

Not that Siberia has historically belonged to China - a few hundred years out of thousands for a relatively small chunk of it. The Mongols have a better claim to Siberia and more. But the Chinese do want those resources.

It is Russia versus the globalists versus the people.

That is everyday, worker type people who just want to not be ruled by elitists from any big city, don’t want to be forced to take the shot or wear a mask nor accept the settled science. The Ukranian people are like the Canadian truck drivers—just leave them alone.

I stand with neither Russia nor the globalists. I stand with the people of Ukraine who don’t want to be ruled by neither.

Just like here in the USA.

Civilians defying a foreign invaders was something I thought FReepers would be for. Not on Biden/Gate/Fauci OR Xi/Vladimir’s side.

The longer the Ukrainians hold out, the more they cost Russia and Putin. Also, the more likely they are to learn what works, what does not, and to have talented commanders rise to the top.

The Ukrainians are fighting for survival.

The Russian conscripts are fighting because of orders from above.

Yes, it is early, and the fog of war is thick.

Since I’ve heard this same meme across multiple sites I’m going to assume the media is running with more propaganda and everyone is pretending that’s what THEY were already thinking.

The Finn’s negotiated a separate peace in 1944 to avoid continued losses as Russia began to assault Finland. They drove the Germans out of Finland as part of that agreement.

And does anybody want to guess what they’ll do if they get desperate?

The problem is that Russia’s armed forces are made up by 80% of ill trained troops that are nothing more than cannon fodder.

Western intellectual property rights in Russia can be voided or sold out with a few strokes of Putin’s pen.

I can just see China saying to Putin, “You should invade Ukraine. We got your back!”

And then sitting back and watching Russia get bogged down in ther own little “Vietnam conflict”. Except it wouldn’t really last very long.

It would be interesting if China “supported” Putin with a “wink”, but in reality were setting him up to fail.

So far China has refused to support Russia politically in the U.N. I think they'll refuse to take any overt steps against Russia but won't do much to support them either.

I’m wondering if “backroom deals” were done between the two countries and now China is reneging. It’s not like the two nations have ever been pals. And love the western countries or hate them, China knows who’s buying their stuff.

I still see Russia as a second world nation. Not quite third world.

It’s what any patriot would do. Defend your country. But if you choose to fight as a partisan without a uniform, you must be willing to accept the consequence of possible summary execution if captured.

Finland eventually lost that war and lost about a third of its territory.
