I’ve become extremely distrusting of hospitals as a viable path toward health. Let me recouperate at home if at all possible. I’ve recently learned that sepsis is a serious risk in hospitals.

I worked in HVAC/Boiler/Rlectrical maintenance in nursing homes before medical retirement. Sepsis, Staph, Medication Resistant Staph, TB, and other possibilities have been amongst healthcare facilities for decades. I used to have to for some insane reasoning by the administrator box up for pick up and burning medical haz-mat the red bag stuff. I never caught anything, but I practiced self-sanitary precautions and when I got home from work washed my uniform in a detergent and Pine-sol mixture. Oh yeah, several patients also had STD's. I retired on medical disability non work related in 1994. I worked in those facilities for 10 years.
