In before the peace in our time comments, wait, too late, I just did it.
I always though the solution was for Ukraine to have an agreement with the EU, and one with Russia because they already had big significant energy, industrial and agricultural ties. Combine that with a super low tax rate and they could have become rich... sitting in the middle.
But it was not to be. The EU demanded exclusivity and no Russian agreement. EU was also going to offer them a trade deal but was going to keep visa requirements. Next, Ukraine is hopelessly corrupt. And NATO/DC neocons only cared about knocking over another Domino and hopefully getting the Sevastopol base and spreading the NATO melanoma.
The whole thing is tragic, and has a pre-WWI vibe.
Biden can not afford to do this because: Suppose Putin surreptitiously videos the meeting and then releases it. No way Biden’s handlers are going to allow it. Now way, now how. A meeting with Biden continually asking for pudding would not look good.
“US intelligence?”
More like warmongering fools. Eastern and Northern Ukraine are not suitable for large scale offensive operations until the ground dries out enough.

While main battle tanks can cope with the mud to an extent, and the road network there has been improved since 1943. How do these fools expect any forces to be resupplied with munitions, fuel and food? The support vehicles are mostly wheeled not tracked.
LoL........beautiful.
