In 2018, the nursing home my mother was in had over 30 die from the flu. They shut it down and it finally subsided.
There is no reason to stop life and force shots into everyone for this reason.
People get really sick at times and that is a fact of life.
Glad your mom wasn’t one of them. Sad for the other 30 families.
I don’t think I was EVER in danger of dying from it. I’m quite sure of that.
But at 53 and with a horrible weight, it was hell.
Much, much worse than any flu I ever had.
But like you said folks get really sick at times and it is what it is.
I got ALL better and life went on.
My 89 year old mom beat it in 3 days without really getting that sick at all :)
Those old Italians really ate and still eat healthy.
Should have never moved out lol
