OTTAWA, Ontario – Canadian truckers who received notices by police to leave or potentially be arrested, said law enforcement was "over-stepping" with another "scare tactic" and vowed to stay.

"The Charter of Rights and Freedoms says we can peacefully protest" and that document is "basically saying that it's wrong," he continued.
"This is another way of them over-stepping what they are actually allowed to do," the trucker told Fox News Digital.
Trucker Clarence Penner felt similarly. "Everything we're doing is 100% peaceful and within our Charter rights," he said. "If anyone is going to be breaking the law, it's them."
All truckers who spoke to Fox News Digital said they would not leave and expected most others feel the same way.
Penner, for instance, said while the warning may "ruffle some feathers for some," most will not to be scared since they anticipate police "would try every last card in their backpack."
Vizi agreed that some might be intimidated, but said he was committed to staying.
"Somebody can go take my house, I don't care at this point" Vizi said. "Probably, my bank account is froze."
"I'm broke financially anyway so take it, who cares?" Vizi continued.
Canadian trucker Steve Ness told Fox News Digital: "I have a son, I don't want him seeing dad in handcuffs. But I'm not too scared, I'm not doing anything wrong, it's still peaceful."
Also saying he'd be staying indefinitely was trucker, Mike Fabinski. "I'm not moving, I'm staying all the way," he said. "This is the price you pay for freedom, you got to do what you believe."
Like Fabinski, Canadian trucker Matt Mackenzie remained committed to the protest: "As long as it takes, if we were afraid of pieces of paper, we had no business coming in the first place."

I cross northbound in Blaine and exit southbound at Sumas almost daily for the past 14 years. It has changed drastically since Monday at Pacific Highway.
On my way east on Hwy 1 just now I saw two Vancouver City buses loaded with what appeared to be RCMP in their military gear being escorted by black SUVs and Vancouver police motorcycles. The motorcycles would not allow anyone to get next to the buses - creating quite the backup.
They exited Hwy 1 at the Abbotsford International Airport exit - I’m assuming that they are being flown to Ottawa.
If this is being coordinated at all, that should be a signal to start playing hardball again out west.
Guerilla tactics involve using a very small force against a numerically superior opponent that is not superior enough to control all territory, and if there is a place that was ever made for such tactics, it would be Canada even more than Russia.
Especially out west.
From an Ottawa view point “Out west” starts about 20 minutes west of Kanata.
I live more than an hour beyond that point. We keep sending Gallant back to Parliament, and as far as Ottawa goes she (and us) might as well be from another planet. Too bad that can’t be arranged.
I e never been east of Kelowna, but have always enjoyed being up here. It has been quite interesting watching what goes on in your Parliament!!!
I was going to say that it isn’t my Parliament any more than it is yours—it belongs to the populated areas of Ontario and Montreal more than any of the rest of us—but I looked at your home page—you’re the one who trucks natural gas to BC out of Washington?
I’m originally from a bit south of you (South Western Oregon), but I became a dual citizen about three years back, so I guess that now it is more mine than yours.
The guy who drives your car. ;-)
Christians also use the shofars for prayer.
Joshua and his men blew the shofars when the walls of Jericho tumbled down.
LOL
It might be nice to look into getting some of those buzzing noisemakers they use at the South American soccer games. Y gawd that is a nightmarish sound
