Republicans Defeated by Eric Holder’s Nationwide ‘Gerrymandering’ Plot: The Plan to Steal The Mid-Term Elections is On
Republic Brief ^ | 02/05/2022 | Ryan Kelly

In the past year, the former Attorney General of former U.S. President Barack Obama, Eric Holder, has developed a gerrymandering strategy in which he aggressively gerrymanders state legislative districts and state congressional districts throughout the nation.

The Wall Street Journal reported Holder’s success was a result of his “sue to blue” strategy after Obama was destroyed in the 2010 redistricting cycle. Under the National Democratic Redistricting Committee that Holder was responsible for creating, Holder was reportedly instrumental in reducing the aggressiveness of Republican legislatures by developing a plan under its auspices.

According to reports, Holder has aggressively used the court system to create gerrymandered state maps – and then accuse Republicans of gerrymandering their way to victory:“gerrymandered” — all the while accusing Republicans of gerrymandering their way to victory:

Any number of state and federal judges intervened and redrew maps to favor Democrats.

The result is that some state Republican parties are pulling their punches. Tired of getting dragged into drawn-out litigation, sick of being branded Jim Crow, and wary courts might choose to impose their own maps, many GOP state lawmakers this round chose to focus on shoring up their own districts, rather than pushing into Democratic territory.

That didn’t stop Democrats from litigating those maps anyway, as well as more aggressive GOP products—pulling courts into fights in North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania and even Alabama.

In the coming months, approximately 75 congressional districts in roughly seven states will be finalized in courtrooms around the nation as a result of the Democrats’ litigious game plan, Politico reported.

“Taken together, the court interventions have eased Democratic fears about redistricting as they sweat over a tough midterm political environment,” Politico acknowledged. “So far, the decisions have validated the party’s state-by-state legal strategy and, critically, offered a surprising reprieve from several Republican gerrymandering attempts before a single election could be held under the new lines.”

The chair of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, Sean Patrick Maloney (D-NY), told Politico he gives the credit to Holder’s National Democratic Redistricting Committee:

Look at the teamwork on the part of the DCCC, the National Democratic Redistricting Committee under Eric Holder’s leadership and a lot of our allies and partners. This has been a team effort and we’re in decent shape. We’re not taking anything for granted but we’re doing a hell of a lot better than I thought we would.

Adam Kincaid, executive director of the National Republican Redistricting Trust, the opposition to Holder’s litigious approach, told the publication that Republicans have slacked on electing and appointing judges who apply the law as written instead of creating new law.

“Republicans need to take supreme State Supreme Court races seriously,” Kincaid said. “We need conservative judges who will actually apply the laws as written versus these liberal judges who will just create new law. There’s no precedent for what’s happening in several of these states.”

Meanwhile, as states are bracing for decisions from the courts, Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) asked for a preemptive ruling on his proposed redistricting map to presumably circumvent Democrat lawsuits.

DeSantis did so after the Republican-controlled legislature, led by establishment House Speaker Chris Sprowls (R) and president of the Florida Senate, Wilton Simpson (R), was hesitant to enact DeSantis’s map:

BREAKING: A NEW Congressional map just released tonight from Governor DeSantis’ Office. District numbers all change under this proposal—I would be running in “District 6” (which is “District 7” with a new #)

— Rep. Anthony Sabatini (@AnthonySabatini) January 17, 2022

“I think we are going to be able to get to a good spot and have a good product,” DeSantis said during Tuesday’s press conference about his request to the court. “We’ve got to get a couple of legal issues squared away.”

After taking loss after loss in recent weeks in New York, Alabama, and Pennsylvania, the GOP is counting on Florida to pick up the slack, David Wasserman, senior editor of the Cook Political Report, suggested Thursday.

According to Wasserman, Democrats have taken a two- to three-seat advantage in the redistricting battle where Republicans were expected to dominate.

The establishment media have taken notice how “weirdly well” Democrats are performing in nationwide redistricting battles. “According to at least one analyst, there is actually an outside chance that the final map will be tilted, ever so slightly, in the Democrats’ favor,” the New York Magazine reported in December.

Republicans, however, still have the momentum to overturn Rep. Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) five-seat majority in the House. President Joe Biden’s approval rating is pegged at 33 percent. And 29 House Democrats have announced they are not running for reelection. The retirements will hurt Pelosi’s chances of retaining the House because of the incumbent advantage.

If Republicans are able to retake the House and Senate, the GOP will have an opportunity to fire Dr. Anthony Fauci, ban lawmakers from trading stocks, break up Big Tech, and impeach Biden.

"If Republicans are able to retake the House and Senate, the GOP will have an opportunity to fire Dr. Anthony Fauci, ban lawmakers from trading stocks, break up Big Tech, and impeach Biden."

I hope they run on a better agenda than that.

  1. Increase energy supply which will lower energy prices which will combat inflation in all products.
  2. Split responsibility for therapeutics from vaccines. No more vaccine only mentality.
  3. Split adverse vaccine event reporting off too. Better more accurate reporting.
  4. Stop dependency on China for critical goods. Bring manufacturing back to the US.
  5. Close the border again. It will stop disease from coming across the border. And it will cause real wages to rise combating inflation.
  6. Call out censorship and have a plan to combat it.
  7. Call out policies that have led to high crime and have a plan to combat it.
  8. Have a plan to combat homelessness. From more shelter beds to affordable housing under supervision of shelters. Not $300,000 apartments like Seattle just bought for the homeless. (recent Tucker expose) Mental care for homeless with mental issues. Rehab for drug addicts.

Not sure but I think Firing Dr. Fauci is probably not a good issue to campaign on. Might alienate people in the middle. But everyone wants more choice and ways to protect ourselves from covid. Besides Biden would probably have to fire him. You probably wouldn't have consensus among republicans to impeach Fauci, so your setting yourself up for failure.

Don't impeach Biden. If you impeach Biden you get Kamala and she has a history of persecuting political opposition. Make Democrats own Biden. Hang Biden around their necks. Besides by the time the republicans retake the house, there will only be 2 years left and Biden will be a lame duck.

Well, the proof the pudding will be in the eating. The new congressional district lines may or may not yield the results that Holder and Company anticipate. From what I’ve read from several commentators, the Dems are generally seeking very aggressive district lines, which is to say more districts “in play” at the expense of having fewer “safe” Dem districts. The idea that the Dems are going to win all those toss-up districts is certainly part of their plan, but it backfire spectacularly in a “red wave” election.

This. The Democrats might look back after the 2022 election and kick themselves for it.

This is a surprise to no one. GOP is outfoxed once again, maybe permanently this time.

As mentioned here many times, there will never be any more elections that matter...

The GOP at both the federal office and state office levels are, as usual, sleep walking into permanent tyrannical oblivion...

In NC and OH, the GOP passed good maps and the Democrat controlled courts are forcing changes to benefit Democrats. What idiots voted for Trump and then a Democrat judge?

In NY, NV, NM, and MD, the Republicans are so decimated they have no power.

But in several states, Republicans are in control and passed weak maps. Indiana. Iowa. Missouri. Kentucky. Shame on them.

People need to be active, but this is a groundswell.

Even in a blue state’s bluest city; Seattle, Soviet of Washington, the city voters elected as their city attorney a former Republican who favors a tough on crime approach. If Republicans can win in Seattle City government, then something big is happening.

Soros has stacked state supreme courts and attorney generals, even in red states.

The media runs stories that the GOP is gerrymandering, but says nothing of those states where the DNC has control.

Holder fights behind the scenes to pick up a district here and a district there.

The resulting districts are diluted, making it harder for strong conservatives to win.

This is all about more RINOs.

We may get a red wave this year, but a wave of weak, spineless grifters that can be coopted by the communists.

We are not winning, folks. They are playing chess while we play with ourselves.

If the Rs can’t fight this, they cant fight on anything and the country is lost to the communists. Trump should have been pressuring the legislatures on this in Red states and he’s been quiet as a church mouse.

Yes, in NC the Supreme Court is D controlled 4-3 so the vote to down the plan was 4-3. In Ohio, the court is 4-3 R and the “Republican” Chief Justice, appointed by Robt. Taft, has sided with the Dems twice. Thank God for Gov. DeSantis.

If Republicans win control of the House and Senate, the Democrats will still run the place. The key goal for Republicans is who gets to control the distribution of the pork.

The GOP are gutless cowards who are apparently just fine with losing the country. I had it with them last year and finally left the party after 35 years.

There are no more political solutions.

It’s possible that Mr Holder might be gerrymandering himself and his ilk to a position on the wrong side of a musket?

Every time one of the pundits on Fox News ranted about how the Republicans were going to sweep the 2022 Mid-terms I thought how clueless. Just like in 2020, they underestimate the ability of the Democrats to cheat.
