If the government tries to muscle the truckers, they might end up getting support from their fellow truckers around the country.
Just speculating.
Not to worry about the cold temps. They’ll
just set fire to some dumpsters and maybe a

Most likely they will be paid protesters. As I watched the convoy pass through their towns, people were standing on overpasses and roadways waving flags and welcoming the truckers.
What exactly are they counter protesting? Mandates forever and no freedom? Government tells you what to do.
We want oppression!
I’d also suggest remaining in the trucks. Film the vandalism from the cab

This troublemaking _itch calls their counter protest anti hate and refers to the truckers as “terrorist occupiers”.
Hey lady, if those truckers were terrorists you would hide out in your house. You would not be out in the streets with them.
I’m reflecting on the organizer’s comment regarding:
“the terrorists occupying our city center”
The other day the military option run up and down the flagpole by the police.
In the context of Canadian history the War Powers Act was used in 1970 against a terrorist group the FLQ with the army deployed to Ottawa, Montreal and Quebec City.

I don’t think a lot of people see this protest as “terrorism” but can public perception be changed so Justin Trudeau can do what daddy did and put the military into the picture to deal with terrorists?

It would be funny as hell if the counter protesters show up this weekend and there are no trucks in the city core.
They will still loot and burn while the trucks are outside of walking distance. (Counter protesters usually ride the bus or show up in a Liberal funding bus)
