A billionaire Trump-donor who is the largest shareholder at Discovery and wanted to restore left-wing CNN to impartial journalism insisted on Jeff Zucker's resignation after learning of his affair with colleague Allison Gollust.

Zucker stepped down on Wednesday after the affair was revealed, sending CNN into turmoil and panic. The match was struck by a vengeful Chris Cuomo, who is fighting the network for $18million which he claims he is owed.

Zucker refused to pay him, and it led to an investigation during which the affair was brought to light.

Restoring CNN to impartial journalism is a very tall order.

I personally think that the affair was Zucker’s way of getting out before the ship sinks.

“sending CNN into turmoil and panic”

Since that has always been the state of things at Commie News Network, who would notice?

Restoring CNN to impartial journalism is a very tall order.

It requires a nearly complete change of administration and "talent".

Very difficult to do, but not impossible.

CNN needs to increase the rate they are shedding employees before that can happen.

New administration maybe a key to this, but I don’t know. They have no viewers so they can only change dramatically or sink forever.

I won’t miss CNN if it goes under.

They only have to tell newscasters their ratings suck, so they are being let go.

It’s a huge undertaking, but if we want America back it REQUIRES an honest media.

You are right. They might be able to replace the talk shows with news readers 24/7 but it CNN will never be impartial. It’ll still be slanted news.

Trust lost, is hard to regain.

Many Republicans from the Reagan era are likely never coming back to their doner class. Even after Trump, the GOP remains a zombie... the rot is too pervasive.

The CNN from the days of Bernard Shaw asking Dukakis, "Governor, if Kitty Dukakis were raped and murdered, would you favor an irrevocable death penalty for the killer?" is gone.

Razing the building, seeing 100% turnover, and re-populating it with FReepers is about the only way a turnaround could happen.

How come she hasn’t been fired yet? She was porking the boss. For years. Having a sexual relationship with any direct report is a huge no no in every company I’ve ever worked for. It results in the immediate termination of both people in that relationship. Yet somehow she is still drawing a paycheck.

Is this the message to female employees? Just pork your boss to get ahead and don’t worry, even if you get caught you won’t be fired? What does this say to any other female employees at CNN?

Are there actually any billionaire Trump donors? I thought the late Sheldon Adelson might have been the only one.

Who are we kidding? It would require nothing less than a chainsaw enema. EVERYBODY at CNN would have to go. All of them. No exceptions. Furthermore, they would have to come clean, admit to how corrupt, dishonest and biased the network had been under previous management and beg forgiveness.

and I'm not even sure that would be enough to get people to give them another chance.

This is potentially great news. We need wealthy Trump Supporters to start taking back the media, at least to the point of impartiality. The media is completely saturated with insane leftist communists who spread their vile propaganda 24/7.

Restoring CNN to impartial journalism is a very tall order.

It can only be done if they are honest with themselves and make it the sum total of their mission statement. Of course they would have to fire the outed Lefties, which is probably 98% of their staff.
