Joe Rogan apologized for his Spotify show over the weekend, which was bad enough, but he managed to make things far worse in his Instagram statement.
Rogan’s in the spotlight because singer Neil Young — he of “Rockin’ in the Free World” fame — pulled his music from the streaming service because Rogan’s COVID-19 discussions were not deferential enough to the government. It’s that free speech guy or me, said Mr. Stick-It-to-the-Man, Anti-War, four-dead-in-oh-HI-oh to Spotify.
Spotify’s CEO couldn’t handle the heat and even though he let Young walk and sided with his 100-million-dollar man Rogan, he announced that from here on out, his company would place a scarlet letter on every “podcast episode that includes a discussion about COVID-19.” An advisory “will direct listeners to our dedicated COVID-19 Hub [to get] up-to-date information as shared by scientists, physicians, academics and public health authorities around the world.” These are, of course, some of the very people who have lied about the origins and funded the gain of function research to create the very virus that appears to have escaped from the Wuhan Institute of Virology. They’re some of the same people who said masks were bad but then they were good, that shooting up kids with experimental shots and adults with boosters was unethical but now that’s good too, and that the “vaccinated” were bulletproof to COVID-19 but now claim they never said that. In other words, information is ever-changing so if disclaimers mean nothing, why disclaim anything?
Rogan, who runs the juggernaut podcast, gave a great recitation of why the two most controversial guests on his program, Dr. Peter McCullough, an epidemiologist and cardiologist, and Dr. Robert Malone, who holds nine patents on mRNA technology, were perfectly suitable guests for his program. He said,

I keep telling people he may have been MMA, but he is a hollywood lib who knows that if you want ratings put on people the leftist media ignores. Its the same business model that Fox News used to stay on top for 20 years, (until they went woke). He saw crap with COVID censorship going on and put on people Steve Bannon already interviewed months ago. Personally, I’ve listened to him. There really aint that much interesting. Fail to see the draw to his program.
Joe demonstrated his knowledge of defensive martial arts with his statement IMHO.
What an establishment tool.
re: Rogan knows better than PJ Media how to keep $100MM, and everyone flipping out over the "warning" on select broadcasts......guess what happened to sales of those labeled albums when record companies started slapping the "explicit content" label on them?
Yep, sales took off.
Rogan and Spotify just locked in gains.
Bongino has rumble and he has his own payment processing system.
Both are open to be used by anyone who signs up.
An actual bank might be a problem if they all cut them off.
So I whined and complained as I saw Frank Zappa 3x, Van Halen in 80-82, Live Aid in Philadelphia, Stevie Ray Vaughn, The Who with Entwistle numerous times, Anthrax in the early years, David Lee Roth, Buddy Rich, Sarah Vaughn, and countless other bands that today are considered classic rock.
Today, the little DoodleBobs are amazed at the band's I've seen. But at the time, had I put my head in the sand, my short sightedness would have caused me to miss great things.
Limbaugh is dead. RIP. The next great innovator is right here amongst us. Maybe it's Rogan, or maybe it's someone else (I prefer Andrew Wikow to Limbaugh). We will miss him or her - and liberty will be lost - if we sit shiva for years.
He didn’t push back. He signaled weakness.
Joe Rogan is doing what’s best for Joe Rogan.
He doesn’t give a hoot about converting leftists to Conservatives.
Big mistake ? He doesn’t want potential guests boycotting him.

“Joe Rogan Apologized and Now He’ll Have Hell to Pay”
Yeah, he’s got you on his a**, harpy. Go try journalism.
I'll wait to see what happens next time after a controversy.
And just like when Leno had Hugh Grant on, Rogan has effectively guaranteed higher listenership.
Rogan and Spotify just locked in gains.

Exactly. Joe likes money and to be popular and now forgiving.
I thought Rogan got a dig in on N Young telling the story of being a security guard and quitting in the middle of a shift because people that went to Neil Young Concerts were destroying property and getting rowdy.
Says a lot about what Neil Young offers the world
Rogan played the "I'm only an entertainer" card. He gave his enemies a means to discredit him.
Exactly right. This was a non-apology apology, and slapping a Scarlet Letter “warning” on his stuff will only increase the draw.
He’s invited the woke crowd onto his show before, and they always get their sh*t shoved in. They rarely come on because their lies won’t fly, Joe calls them on it, and Jamie fact-checks the BS real-time.
The bigger picture is that the left and the M$M is scared of Joe Rogan, he has a bigger audience than CNN, MSNBS, etc. combined.
Joe won this round, Spotify too. But the woketards have their knives out for him and they aren’t done. Expect more dirty tricks.
Never say you're sorry. You're admitting you've been wrong. He's going to regret conceding he needs "balance". He damaged his brand.
Yeah, I caught that too. I wonder if he likes her roller skate song. :)
The big picture!
This is not about Rogan!
This is about silencing the next Rogan/Limbaugh etc..!
If you don’t fall within the elites narrow margin of
communicating your ideas, you will not be allowed
to speak, PERIOD.
Joes playing the crowd. Projects he’s just a simple guy who smart people like sharing their views with. He picks his battles carefully
One of the only voices right now that can oppose nonsense out in the open and get away with it.
He has such a toe hold on doing what he wants I think we can only be thankful for whatever lies he exposes. The left offers him more targets than the right.

People with no skin in the game are always the roughest toughest talkers around.
I will join you out there on that limb.
I don’t get the whole joe rogan deal. I tried listening and he is long winded and quite boring. I am glad he makes a hundred million but it really freaks me out that so many people are entertained by boredom. He must say the f word a lot. 3 hours? Who has time to listen to someone for 3 hours?
