I zoomed in on Google Maps and could see several of them - - some, pretty large. Makes sense that the ground would let go after a while over the voids. It happens here due to caves running under the whole area, though not as large as I saw in your area. Something let go under the other house a few years ago with a loud BOOM and shook the house. Scared the heck out of me and the cats. Now I can see the roofline sagging over the spot where it happened. One day I expect to see the house has collapsed. It’s one reason I wanted to move over here.
I’m also glad you moved to the other house. That one you were in is an accident waiting to happen. And all that JUNK still in it. Oh, my!
