An 80-tonne shipment of US anti-tank missiles has arrived in Ukraine - just the latest delivery of high-tech weapons aimed at inflicting maximum death and destruction on Putin's forces if he decides to invade.
A plane loaded with 300 Javelin missiles worth some $50million landed in capital Kiev late Tuesday, the third part of a $200million shipment of American military aid that is being sent to help its ally.
The shipment also contained grenade launchers, as well as ammunition and other non-lethal weapons systems, and comes in addition to other anti-tank and anti-aircraft weapons already supplied by the UK, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

Not that I doubt that all of this is taking place, but I've not seen any documentation that proves it. So when I fire it at a leftist he simply calls it right-wing propaganda.
Anyone who wants to know how this goes down needs to understand one thing.
Russia supplies 40% of the oil and about 50% of the Natural Gas for Europe.
Right now, all Putin has to do is say..sorry, you guys get no more or a reduced supply.
Its coming to Feb in Europe. What does anyone think would happen since Pig Faced Biden has destroyed the energy sector within this country?
This is who GD stupid this administration is. They want to hold onto that cash cow (Ukraine) so bad they will force a global war with a major nuclear country.
There are now countermeasures for the Javelin...all the way from reactive turret refits to elevated armor shields that intend to pre-detonate the javelin missile.
If any anti-tank, soldier carried missile were unbeatable, they’d stop building tanks.
Recently saw video of MLRS launch volley of thermobaric rounds, holy cow! How would a tank platoon fare?
Apparently both US and Russia have these in TOEs.
Whatever we send to Ukraine will be in Russian hands a day later.
I’d rather think that waiting for the mud to dry would make more sense.
I’d rather think that waiting for the mud to dry would make more sense.
“As I recall, they fought that kind of war in Afghanistan and lost.”
No they didn’t. Afghanistan is at least five countries away. This fight will be against their neighbor. No need to ask permission for flyovers. Unfettered bombing runs. And their whole air force can be available by moving planes west.
All their fighter jets and bombers at will. Everyone of their reservist are nearby and don’t require transportation other than to the front. Their supply lines are nearby. The logistics of this war is 100s of times easier.
They have all their resources nearby. And they likely learned from their mistakes also.
No they didn’t. <— didn’t mean to say this. Getting old.
If they didn’t send complete CBR suits, those missiles won’t matter.
I wonder if Biden would sent troops over thhe border in to Russia to start a war. It seems like he would just to save face. Putin will do nothing to start a war.
Ukraine should send the troops coming there home.
The war won’t go badly for the Russians. Ukraine can’t put up much of a fight; and, our troops are led by the same folks who can’t even make a safe withdrawal.
First thing first: this is from the Daily Mail.
Maybe Joe blinked first; his “coalition of the willing”
is not so willing.
But maybe this goes back to 2014, when Russia re-absorbed the Crimea, which seems to have PO’d Obama. When did he and Biden start mucking around there?
Also, everybody should google up Rand Paul’s website and read his editorial reminding us of Zelensky’s declaration
“On March 24th, Ukraine’s President Vladimir Zelensky signed what was essentially a declaration of war on Russia. In the document, titled Presidential Decree No. 117/2021, the US-backed Ukrainian leader declared that it is the official policy of Ukraine to take back Crimea from Russia...”
I think Putin’s buildup began in April.
What if Ukraine is just a feint and he goes into Estonia instead?
You can’t start a war when it is the other side that has to do the invading.
Putin is in the Americas. About 80 miles off shore of the Keys.
So when the Chernobyl Disaster happened, didn’t we all think that was Russia’s problem?
I’m pretty sure it was, despite the fact that it’s in now in Ukraine.
Somehow, while most of us were ignoring Ukraine just like we always have done, its independence has become Our Problem and we are blundering into war with Russia thanks to what, exactly?
He recently invaded Crimea and just sent troops into another neighboring state. Ask yourself why he wouldn’t.
China is in America. Occupying the White House.
The UN could set up a buffer zone between the two warring factions. Whomever invades first has to cross UN lines, triggering a UN response.
