'It's just plain unconstitutional': Wisconsin GOP leaders again reject resolution to 'pull back' 2020 electoral votes

That's why I said it isn't unconstitutional for a legislature to vote that way. They can vote however they wish even if the only value is symbolic.

But I think going down the road of "uncasting" votes that already have been cast and counted is a terrible one, and there isn't even the barest hint of that in the Constitution. Don't like the election? The states send members to Congress who are free to vote for impeachment.

It would be bizarre for the Framers to have included such a specific, detailed measure for removing a President from office by impeachment and conviction, while simultaneously silently intending for their to be a completely unmentioned ability to reverse an election by legislatures undoing their elector slates long after the votes were counted.

It's a classic leftist strategy of twisting the law beyond all recognition simply because you like the result.

Her decision showed poor judgement.

Yet when I hear here speak, her judgement seems excellent on the issues, and overall, on her understanding of what we are up against.

I think that when you say that "she appears to be not ready for prime time", that you are blowing one mistake out of proportion. Especially when you look at the crap that passes for our current crop of Republican politicians.

I was highly suspicious when the GP report said that the voice vote was “unanimous”. That was just implausible. Any reputable news feed would have verified the story!

I know the writer didn't mean it, but she affirmed that the 2020 election is illegal:

Even reading the pronoun reference loosely, she has affirmed that rejection of the proposal is illegal.
