I was just reading this:

This gal was the daughter of Hefner’s personal physician who lived in the Playboy Mansion and she says she “grew up” there. She didn’t go there seeking fame and fortune.
Interestingly, she says she knows that her dad was probably one of Hefner’s male lovers. (YUCK!!!!1111)
She said that she and other young women were afraid to say what they had seen, or to try to intervene in the bad stuff they saw going on, because of how powerful these men were and how much influence they had.
I can say from my own experience that a lot of these freaks do try to force themselves on you, they will stalk you, they will cause you to lose your job and they will interfere with your relationships, and this is NOT when you went seeking anything from them.
One of the guys I had problems with used to follow me when I got off the bus coming home from work. He would say in this really soft voice, “Oh, you need a job, don’t you?” and he would try to catch up to me. He was a big fat guy. I don’t know how old he was because I never let him get close enough that I could get a good look at him. I was a teen when this was going on.
I used to hitchhike and do lots of risky stuff. I’m not saying I’m Ms Goody Two Shoes or anything like that. However, not all the women victimized by Hefner and his ilk are “asking for it.”
This is why I’m no longer okay with p0rn anywhere around me. I used to think “Oh well, that’s something guys do, why try to stop it?” and all the usual rationalizations. Then I found something that a guy I had lived with for a long time was keeping hidden from me - when he used to go buy p0rn all the time and look at it casually in the open. But this was something he didn’t want me to see. It changed my outlook in an instant.
(I remember I first read “playboy” at the home of one of my friends in catholic school! Their dad had hundreds of playboys and penthouse and they let the kids and their visitors check them out all the time!)
Lots of people think of “playboy” as “Haha, those women make so much money and then they get married to pro football players and make GREAT MOMS” and so on and so forth.
And girls’ parents being more than all right with it: “She’ll be rich and admired by everyone!”
A lot of people are probably still afraid to dime these cruds. To me, that’s understandable.
