I grew up a huge Neil Young fan and have always liked his music. I have learned to separate the left wing mentality from the music itself, not only from Neil but a lot of other musicians.

I'm sure Neil is expecting other musicians to step up to the plate to cancel Joe Rogan so I'm saving Spotify the trouble of making the choice. I'll be removing all of Young's music from my playlists and keep Rogan's show.

I liked him/them in the 1960s. Music seems to fit into cultural moments in history, and for Neil Young to think he’s relevant today, while still clinging to yesterday, it the height of egotism. A washed-up has-been fits nicely.
