The headline is misleading, although the truth isn't a whole lot better. Apparently, there was some Iranian money being held as sanctions by South Korea, and we apparently worked with the South Koreans to have those funds freed to pay the U.N. debt.

Still pretty horrible, but we didn't actually pay their bill.
