Wasn't anything that interesting. Like the movie, money, life insurance, and infidelity were the motives.

So 21 years and they still have not exhausted their appeals, whatever.

Here in California there are some men on Death Row whose appeals are going on 40 years now, and they're still not close to an execution date. They will probably die of old age before justice can be done. You can look it up. Start with Ricardo Rene Sanders, sentenced in 1982 for herding restaurant employees and customers into a walk-in refrigerator and blasting them with a shotgun during a late-night robbery. Still not executed.

In the olden days a murderer never lasted more than two months from the crime till the hangman’s noose.

That was a vicious and sadistic crime as I remember. He made them drink drain cleaner before he murdered them. These types are sub-human and have no place on this earth. But if we are going to play these games maybe we shouldn’t kid ourselves about the “death penalty”.
