The guy is a liberal, but he clearly was NOT advocating physical violence. It was a play on words, and adults ought to recognize it. This is the equivalent of saying Sarah Palin wanted people shot because she had pictures with a gun sight on them!
Let’s not play the stupid, “I got you” hyperventilating games of the Left. He was saying they ought to reject her. That’s all. Nothing physical implied.
Here’s the thing —
A Republican says “I plan to beat my opponent”.
It would be nightly news and the cover of magazines (if they still existed) about the violence being pushed by Republicans. It would be huge.
A Democrat says “I want my opponent’s family gunned down execution style” — and immediately it is Republicans who will jump up and defend their right to free speech. It’s an expression. It’s a play on words. Let’s focus on the issues.
I will not unilaterally disarm.
Use their tactics against them.
No. Sorry. The meaning may ultimately be meant as a metaphor, but the first image that came to my mind was a large man striking her hard across her face with the back of the hand. My wife’s first thought was that he was encouraging people to go beat her up.
And the communist midget from Hell wanted folks to have that image come to their mind. The midget deserves every bit of bad press, condemnation, rebuke, anger, disgust that it receives. It should crawl back under its slimy rock and commune with its father, the father of lies.
We’ve been above their games for years. I’m done being “better than that” because it makes them worse than they were.
They play, I play.
