Fauci, at this point, is radioactive, and it’s amazing that whoever is running the show for the Democrat aparat hasn’t 86’d him, and even worse, are still trotting him out in front of the cameras.

This goalpost dance by Fauxi is raw fear that his kriminal kabuki show is not just going to be cancelled a year from now, but that reviving his cancelled book/retirement victory lap/Medal of Freedom is not going to happen, ever.
His revenge against Reagan and the Silent Majority for humiliating Fauxi -- after Herr Doktor's screeching that AIDS would vector into the normal population in the same manner as the homos, never came to pass -- is about to be placed out of his reach yet again.
The takeaway here is that Fauxi is plainly putting the White Hospice on notice that Xiden must continue to support Fauxi long after the House and the Senate flip, or he will name names. He will not go down alone.
