LONDON, Jan 14 (Reuters) - The scandal engulfing British Prime Minister Boris Johnson over his conduct during coronavirus lockdowns has helped the opposition Labour Party to pull into a 10 point lead over the ruling Conservatives in a new opinion poll released on Friday.

Johnson apologised to parliament on Wednesday and to Queen Elizabeth on Friday following a series of parties or gatherings that were held in his Downing Street residence at times when the country was under strict pandemic curbs.

Pollster Savanta ComRes said a survey of 2,151 adults on Thursday and Friday put Labour up 5 points to 42% of the vote while the Conservatives fell one point to 32%. It said that marked Labour's largest share of the vote since 2013.

Johnson secured a landslide election victory in 2019. The poll said that 70% of respondents now want him to resign.

They need to get rid of Boris or Britain will fall to the Socialists with no fraud required.

Incredible.

The End of Great Britain.

Johnson did it to himself. He keeps taking the advice of Prince Charles.

Prince Charles is a woke dunce.

The media in Europe is even worse than the media in the USA.

What’s the odds that all these anti-Boris Johnson stories are all media Contrivances?

The media in Europe is even worse than the media in the USA.

They get their news/viewpoints from CNN, NYT, and lefty comedians and actors.

I was relieved and enthusiastic when Boris won.

What a mistake.

This guy is a political disaster. He has no redeeming skills.

His climate and Covid policies are more deranged and more destructive than Joe Biden's.

Johnson is Deep State.

And the UK has one, make no mistake.

Tory, Labour are just the two sides of the same coin.

What the UK needs is its own Trump.

“What the UK needs is its own Trump.”

In Johnson’s defense, he had the right ‘hair’ for being their version of Trump...just the stuff underneath it wasn’t there.

Britain needs either a new political party or for Nigel Farage to lead a successful insurgency to take over the Tories. Right now Britain has the Lib Dems (Karens), Labour (unrepentant Gaia Worshiping Global Socialists), and the current incarnation of the Tories who are completely controlled by the equivalent of Establishment RINOs.

This does not however represent a very large swathe of the British - and particularly the English - people. Where is the proudly pro British party that does not sneer at average voters, is willing to defend Britain’s national sovereignty most definitely including its borders, is not authoritarian and is not willing to sacrifice the economic well being of the country to a bunch of pale, weak, vegetarian, Gaia Worshippers?

My hunch is a majority of Brits would vote for such a party in a heartbeat.

I figured that out when he jumped right on board with the Democrat narrative about Jan 6 and publicly blamed Trump for it. eff him.

Except when Britain gets a Maggie Thatcher. Britain has three socialist parties, one nonconsequential, one slow Progress, one fast. Maggie Thatcher is a once in a century phenomenon.
