While most can understand why a homeowner would return fire after a group of masked young men shot at him, relatives of the boys were quick to come forward to say “these little teens” didn’t deserve it.

“He didn’t have to kill them,” one female said, according to WSB-TV.
“That’s not how it’s supposed to go,” a young man in the group complained. “I understand one shot to stop the people, the victims or whatever — but aggressively to shoot these little teens, that’s, that’s overkill. That’s too much to handle,” he said, expressing his frustration and grief.
I'd like to ask them this: What were the teens doing out at 4 AM with handguns?

The important lesson to gain from all this is that these three good little aspiring rap artists will never fire weapons at anyone else. And that is a good thing.
Actually, they did deserve it.
Breaking and entering, attempted murder … they got an appropriate response to their actions.
That’s would be quite the trick shoot to stop three perps with one shot. (sarc)
A terrible waste but I’m sure it saved many people a ruined and destroyed future.
As soon as they picked up an adult weapon and committed and adult life-threatening crime they became valid adult targets.

You may be forgetting the arec barwin defense: “I never pulled the trigger! It wasn’t me!”
And consider how much money is saved when immediate action is accomplished. No court costs, no high cost of housing them in prison, the cost of public defenders has been allayed. it’s all good!
They’ll probably still get their statues in the middle of town and have a street named after them . . . but oh well . . .
