Something similar will happen with China vis a vis Taiwan around the same time right after the Olympics. In fact China will build up their forces near Taiwan during that period. Also expect Bow Cut in North Korea to get froggy and move troops near the DMZ.
Russia/USSR may also push into the Baltics, especially if China attacks Taiwan and attacks the Japanese.
