When Deep State can get healthcare professionals to abandon their common sense, training, ethics, get them to lie to patients, refuse to treat patients, ignore best practice, yeah, we have a de facto NHS.

The problem is that today I keep seeing conservatives like Dinesh De Sousa say, “Big win on vaccine mandates, No Biden federal mandate for private companies. Happily SCOTUS comes thru 6-3. No big deal...The Court allowed mandates for federally funded health care centers. We will give them a CRUMB if we can have the rest of the cake...”

To call 20% of GDP that is health care and the essential workers who risked their lives to save patients in 2020 and 2021 “CRUMBS” REALLY rubs me the wrong way...It is superficial, insulting and frankly playing into hands of the radicals IMHO. And this is how Communist dictatorships have gained power...Health care tyranny.

I’ve said that I would love to have a concierge care option, would be willing to pay cash for service for healthcare providers willing to ditch their systems.
And since I appreciate how hard it would be for providers economically-speaking to go it alone these days, I’d be happy to sign a liability waiver in return for their willingness to take me on as a patient.
I would love that choice and value professionals willing to do it.
