I remember those same videos showing police distributing food to the locked-in citizens using a system of ropes, pulleys, and buckets.
Not this time.
What’s baffling me is that they’re starving to death because the doors are sealed with . . . paper.
Are the people there really that well-trained? They won’t bust through a paper barrier even when their lives depend on it?
Heck, skip the door and send somebody out the window. If there are thousands of families in that one compound, pool your resources and make ladders with whatever you’ve got. Treat those barriers the way you treat things like patents and copyrights!
I suspect it’s really not the fear of ‘broken paper’ being found out. It’s the fear of the very likely bullet(s) that will answer that infraction.
