Nothing desperate about this. This is how Marxist Democrats roll. 24/7/365. They live and breath to attack their political opponents.

claiming the guy cannot legally run because he committed insurrection....when no insurrection took place and he obviously couldn't have participated since he's in a wheelchair screams "we know we can't beat this guy so we're going to try dirty tricks to disqualify him". Its desperate. It doesn't look good to voters.

That’s what the entire “insurrection” narrative is all about.
Eliminating the opposition.
It’s common in banana republics, which we became on Usurpation Day, January 20, 2009 when ALL of our elected and appointed abrogated the Constitution by swearing in the ineligible Kenyan from Indonesia.

Reality is there was only one violent death: that of an unarmed Trump supporter whose murder was not prosecuted.

also the woman named Roslyn who was deliberately trampled by eager bearded activists (of unknown political persuasion) in their rush to enter the Capitol building.

The Socialists in Wisconsin kept Kanye West off of our ballot in 2020, KNOWING that he would siphon off votes from the mentally ill, confined and indigent crazies in our state.

I’m CONVINCED those 20K votes that Brandon supposedly ‘won by’ would’ve gone to West, if not more. Never underestimate the stupidity of the Electorate - and the Socialist Democrats NEVER do!

These people are BRAZEN...and NOTHING is done to stop them!

We’re so screwed.

“At the rally, Cawthorn made baseless claims...”

This is rich from an article that makes the baseless claim “...the Capitol riot later that day that resulted in five deaths.”

Which “baseless” claim is more baseless?

If we are to strictly uphold the Constitution & the laws of the land & get rid of those violating them, then I doubt we’d have enough folks left to run the country.

So much for democracy.

Let those run who want to and see who gets elected.

The left reveals their hypocrisy yet again.

If and when Madison Cawthorne - or any other person, for that matter - is ever charged with, and convicted of, having engaged in an insurrection against the United States, then and only then should such outlandish and CLEARLY partisan complaints be heard and considered.

Meanwhile, any attorneys involved should be given a verbal warning to withdraw their representation of the suit in question, or face disbarment proceedings.

Oh, and about that “insurrection” thing - the feds have had many dozens (hundreds?) of people in jail for about a year now, and

No. One. Has. Been. Charged. With. Insurrection.

...and those are the people (at least many of them) who actually entered the Capitol.

WTF insurrection are they talking about? No guns, and “insurrectionists” carefully staying within rope lines does not an insurrection make. This is ALL a gigantic cover-up of The Steal - from the first thought that some Dem politician or scumbag FBI or CIA officer had regarding using the 1/6 meeting of Congress for the EC vote as a diversion. They didn’t want to even allow a fair and open hearing of the grievances, of even preliminary evidence of their massive cheating. If the Trump campaign and all those backing its position were so wrong, were so incredibly misguided or even “insane” (as many Dems and their hangers-on stated), then wouldn’t it have been in their interest to not fight recounts, to not fight records requests, to not fight this in court (except on the merits - but they fought to keep it out of court altogether), and to allow the entire world to see how Joe Biden “won” the election with clear and irrefutable evidence on 1/6 itself. What better way to crush Trump and scatter his followers...unless, that is, the Dems DID cheat, DID have something massive to cover up, DID THEMSELVES ENGAGE IN AN INSURRECTION AGAINST THE WILL OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE.

How I utterly despise these people - the pols, the bureaucrats, the press & media, and most especially the RINOs who willingly and cheerfully cooperated in slicing Donald Trump’s political throat as a way of “teaching” us to never elect anyone like him again. EFF them ALL!!!!

More potential for problems with his estranged spouse than this nonsense, IMO.

"time will tell if he is a true believer or is a grifting self promoting Rino."

Yes and that time came a year ago.

For those who don't know or remember, in January 2021 Cawthorn proclaimed Biden's legitimacy and stated the election was not fraudulent.

"Yes, I think I would say that the election was not fraudulent. You know, the Constitution allowed for us to be able to push back as much as we could and I did that to the amount of the constitutional limits that I had at my disposal. So now I would say that Joseph R. Biden is our president."

"So when I contested to the election, that was within the constitutional guidelines that the framers had set up. But after I've done that and the electors and the delegates from each state elected Joe Biden as our president, I respect the office. He is my president, and I want to work with him to make sure that we can bring some meaningful change to the American people."

Since Biden's inauguration, Cawthorn has signed onto a letter along with 16 other GOP House freshmen, saying they look forward to working with Biden. Notably, Cawthorn is the youngest member of Congress in modern history, according to US House records, at just 25 years old.

Above quotes and excerpt are from a Jan. 24, 2021 news report in an interview he gave with CNN

"Voters" here means "sock puppets."

Maybe they are even literally sock puppets.

“”A group of North Carolina voters told state officials...
“Nah, those aren’t “voters.””

And they aren’t “North Carolina” either.

This is the insane theory that Marc Elias has been promoting, and while the temptation is to laugh at the insanity, there's an element of danger here.

What they are really after, it seems, is lawfare that saps the finances and attention of anyone thought to be an obstacle to the Democrat machine. From the article:

Ron Fein, legal director of Free Speech for People ... said the challenge will be the first of many against members of Congress associated with the insurrection. Free Speech for People and the group Our Revolution announced last week they would urge state administrators to bar Trump and members of Congress from future ballots.

The challenge asks the board to create a five-member panel from counties within the proposed 13th district to hear the challenge. The panel’s decision can be appealed to the state board and later to court.

The challengers also asked the board to let them question Cawthorn under oath in a deposition before the regional panel convenes, and to subpoena him and others to obtain documents.

My question is, who's funding this?

George Soros would be my guess. He might be doing it through the Democrat National Committee. Or a local Democrat Committee.
