The saddest part is it’s so self perpetuating. Basically there are clowns on all sides ranting “if I don’t see people that look like me in your commercial I’m not buying your product”, and poor bastard commercials makers going “there’s only 3 people in this commercial how many demographics do you think I can put in.” If everybody would just stop and realize that if you’re counting the demos of commercial actors you’ve certainly passed up more interesting things to do with your time it would help a lot.
