Commercials take up 27% of commercial television screen time and are the main source of income for TV and radio stations. In most cases, advertisements on all channels appear simultaneously, so don't try to change the channel, there will be commercials elsewhere, too. Nowadays they have also taken over the Internet. For a financial support, websites have to run ads on their pages, the largest share supplied and controlled by Google. Ads pry into your eyes, unceremoniously interfere with text, and on YouTube, in the most inappropriate places they cut into the action of films, lectures and concerts, tearing apart musical performances. There's no escaping commercials, we've grown accustomed to them, and they become almost as much a part of our lives as food, toilets, and sleep.
In the United States today, the White population (not including Hispanics) is 57.8%. In real life Caucasians are still in the majority, but now on TV and the Internet they are swept under the rug like trash. Blacks compose 14% of the U.S. population but appear in 50% of commercials. White actors now appear for promotion of health insurance, gold, loans and some medicines. Moreover, if a White person appears in a commercial, he/she is usually old, sick, a freak, or at the very least, an appendage to a Black partner. If there's a doctor on the screen, he's usually Black, while the patient is usually White. Caucasian young men appear in only 4% of the commercials! If some aliens began to study the population of Planet Earth through our TV commercials they would have a somewhat distorted picture of Americans, to put it mildly.
So why do advertisers ignore the long-standing rules of marketing, and to the detriment of their own financial interests,

Of more interest to me is that many of these corporate ads on TV are no longer selling a product or service. They’re virtue-signalling how woke and politically correct they are.

You have an excellent point. They are sticking these commercials in our faces, with a deliberate attempt to say it is the norm. Most people do not pay much attention, but younger people are easily influenced. Commercials do not represent reality, but innocent minds our too young to understand.
It will be interesting to see what happens with all the political commercials being aired in a mid-term election year. Congress and Senate members up for election will be targeting the minds of voters. We will see a woke/ political correct commercial and in the next minute a sensitive political commercial. Will people take notice?

We got rid of our cable several years ago so we never really watch TV. On the rare occasion that I watch TV at my parents place, this no-whities phenomenon is immediately apparent; Don’t really care actually.
So glad someone brought this up because it is nothing but propaganda. In passing conversation I mentioned to a well educated friend that blacks make up only 13% of the population. they could not believe me and I had to show her the data. She was absolutely stunned at the truth. She really did believe that made up 40% of the population. My favorite is the Home Security commercials that ALWAYS depicts a white family in the home and the lurking evil burglar out side, in a hoody, is ALWAYS some white guy. PURE B.S.

These people are presenting an agenda-based perception of reality to the gullible and to the people in society that lack critical reasoning skills for one reason or another.
I hold a biblical world view so I know the reason all of this is happening of course. Not all would agree with me, but hey.
Drag Queen story hour across the nation, woke corporations with their equity policies, national/state/local governments pushing diversity, inclusiveness, Black lives matter, open borders (force change of voter demographics).

I just looked it up on Freep and nothing came back. This guy is mega-left commie so I doubt he would be on here unless it was to troll us.
I debate these idiots all time on Youtube, it’s probably the only place I can without getting banned or censored, they can’t hide on there. I had one commie tell me last month “communism makes everyone rich” and when I asked him where that has happened, he told me the Soviet union!!! LOL! Yes where million starved. He also told me he lived in the USA and was going to college. It’s these professors telling them this BS, I told him he needs to get a refund on his tuition.
Here’s an idea, probably wrong.
Many commercials such as the Liberty Mutual ones depict behavior that leaves me thinking only about how stupid it is. But, perhaps it makes Liberty Mutual stick in our minds.
Perhaps the flood of blacks and black-white mixtures in commercials gives us negative thoughts but yet we remember the sponsors.
However, that doesn’t explain that trend in the programming itself.

You’re doing it wrong. Just go to your local bank...they have special rooms where they keep extra cash—free—for white people.
I think its hilarious. Movies are even worse if anyone has the stomach to watch them. I was recently subjected to a movie with a crew of nappy headed cleaning ladies portraying Hollywood superstar and heiresses in some crapola my house guests were watching. I kept laughing out loud until it was apparent that I wasn’t laughing with them.
Well, I’m tickled that black dads will now be portrayed as the idiot in the family...rather than the white dad.
This “blackism” is simply a knee-jerk reaction to the Floyd death by the advertising media.It all is managerial stupidity because advertising as a corporate messaging vehicle is ideally targeted to a specific market...and “blackism” is a fool’s errand at best!!!!!
