What the hell is wrong with Cruz? For every good thing he does, he manages to come up with some epically stupid and dishonest take which makes me question where his principles and heart are. The Jan 6 protests turned riot were not a “terrorist attack”. There are even Democrats who don’t buy that. And yet, here Cruz is, issuing a public statement which endorses the narrative of the Left.

Trump got people worked up all the time by saying what nearly sounded like the opposite logic but then in a short time what he said actually was clear and right on the nose.

Cruz is smart, but he’s not 1/10th as smart as he THINKS he is. So he doesn’t do his homework and doesn’t realize someone could disagree with him and be right. Tucker was wrong about one thing: Cruz frequently speaks/acts without any prior thought.
