Breyer sounds absolutely PANICKED! He is obviously afraid to walk outdoors because COVID cases are EVERYWHERE! These bastards believe everything MSNBC pumps out.
Great question by Alito, he is also clearly on our side.
Gorsuch just offered two supportive questions: is the statute ambiguous and why should the court offer an immediate stay of the rule.

Roberts, Breyer, Kagan and Sotomayor are going to rule in favor of the mandate.
Gorsuch, Alito and Thomas seem to be on our side.
Still nothing from Barrett and Kavanaugh.

If vaccines are meant to prevent spreading illness in workplace & both vax/unvax are getting sick..then mandates don’t work, nor do the vaccines.
This should be a slam dunk decision.

At least 2 are STRONGLY for OSHA having this power. Breyer and Sotomayor.
Sotomayor just said “how is a hiuman spewing virus not like a machine spewing sparks”? IOW, all communicable disease issues are in OSHA scope.
Kagan is likewise for OSHA having this power - and she says OSHA is politically accountable.
I won’t be surprised if SCOTUS comes down in favor of the government.
Since common sense seems to make no difference to out legal system these days... will it matter that the “side effects” from the vaccines are often much worse than the pathogen that they are supposedly helping with?
To add insult to injury... none of the vaccines actually help prevent omicron from being caught or transmitted or help against its very minor symptoms.

Sotomayor is all emotion. She’s going to rule on how she ‘feeels’. UGH.
If the Supreme Court was held in Georgia, and the justices could walk around without masks and around unvaccinated people freely every day, they’d KNOW COVID isn’t a universal death sentence. But it is in Washington DC where all their friends and associates live in daily terror of COVID and dying.
I’ve met people like that in Arizona. One guy was afraid to walk his dog because he might catch COVID....from a COVID asteroid strike? The fear porn of COVID, 24/7 for two years, particularly in places like Washington DC...too many justices ARE immersed daily in COVID fear. BLIND fear.
I have a very bad feeling about how they are going to rule. Thomas will be great of course but....
Kavanaugh’s question is good, it’s hard to read his position, he’s definitely asking what needs to be asked to strike this down.
