Watched Ted’s weak excuses for calling 1/6 an act of terror. It was not at all convincing. Embarrassingly so.
That was my view as well. Cruz was probably calculating that he could score political points by criticizing the participants and got caught up in the moment and went too far. He severely damaged his political viability IMO. Some people will equate him with Lizard Cheney now.
