Couldn’t have just one table with a curtain, that would draw the attention of the observers.

This your argument, that because they didn’t re-start counting with some arbitrary immediacy after the Republicans left, everything was on the up and up? If so, that’s literally the worst argument ever made. These accusations aren’t being made in a vacuum. Fulton and DeKalb have ALWAYS had election/vote-counting shenanigans going on. To presume they didn’t do it, THIS TIME, is beyond naive.

"Fraud requires malicious intent" NSS

NSS= NO SH!T SHERLOCK!

Counting spoiled, or illegal ballots like they were legal gives you a false count (intent to steal an election).

Only legal ballots should be counted.

"A full recount would be a reasonable remedy, and that is what was done."

Are you a lawyer, because only a lawyer would be stupid enough to defeat their own argument.

And illegal ballots are still, (wait for it) illegal.

No, that’s not my argument (though it would be a nice straw man for you to use if you were so inclined — though, for the sake of constructive discussion, I hope you’re not.) I was replying to another poster who claimed that in the video you could see one of the election workers checking to see if the the Republican observers were gone so that counting could resume. But it didn’t happen that way, so I laid out what actually happened in my post in some detail.

Of course, I am not claiming just because the poster I was replying to was wrong on this point that therefore no fraud occurred. I’m simply saying that her/she should not let this particular erroneous recollection of events influence his or her judgement as to whether or not fraud occurred. Capeesh?

> Are you seriously saying because the room had windows and there are election laws, no one would attempt election fraud there?

No, that;s not what I’m saying. If you want to know what I’m saying, then read what I wrote.

> Were I in charge of the operation, I would want both partisans present in the room, when counting votes.

Were I a poll watcher I would have waited until all the ballots had put into crates, the were lights turned off, everybody had left the room and the door had been locked. No one was forced to leave. In fact from the video I see no evidence that any election worker ever directly communicated with the poll watchers. Were they (the poll watchers and media) under the impression that counting had stopped for the night? Apparently. But it was clear, even if the counting had stopped, that the work was not done; the election workers were still packing ballots and putting them into boxes. If the poll watchers had hung around to keep an eye on things (which in my opinion they should have), then they would have been there when Richard Barron called Ralph Jones telling him that they needed to keep on counting. But the Republican poll watchers decided to leave before the election workers had completed their work. It was their choice.

Sorry, I find your interpretation of the video completely unpersuasive. This fraud wasn't committed on the fly, nor was it the firs time these people have done this. What you are seeing is the chutzpah of people who have done election fraud for decades, are doing it in a jurisdiction in which they know they are immune from any kind of penalty, and knowing that they have the full support of their party and large parts of the Federal government.

Do you use your experience and wisdom to assess current events, or are you a continual blank slate?

The GA GOP chairman, David Shafer, made a big stink about all of the fraud and filed/was part of lawsuits.

The NATIONAL GOP did nothing.

I just carefully watched the State Farm security cam video again. The election workers in the room never stopped counting ballots. They were counting ballots when the Republican observers left the room at 10:45pm and they were still counting ballots when Richard Barron called at 10:58pm. The Republican observers left that room under their own volition while ballots were still being counted.

If you don't believe me then please watch the video for yourself. You can find the video here. Let me know if you need help navigating it. Note that the Republican observers (man in blue jacket and pink shirt and lady with gray hair) leave the room at 10:44:56.

Tracy Pick, Giuliani's assistant during the Georgia Senate Election hearing, said this in her televised testimony in front of Georgia state legislators:

Look at the ladies in yellow. You'll see that they'll begin just sitting still, doing nothing. Obstensibly not working because, after all, they said they were going to stop counting. They will wait until the witnesses -- the press and the observers in that roped off area -- leave the room. Then you'll see them move into action scanning ballots.

But none of this is true. This is just misinformation intended to mislead GA state legislators and the American public. Ballot counting never stopped. The Republicans observers left of their own accord while ballots were still being counted.

Does anyone find this troubling?

Re: Post #70

It makes me wonder who to believe. There is a lawsuit under way by the folks whose integrity was impugned by these allegations. We will see the results of that suit.

It has recently been alleged that video surveillance data from drop box cameras was required to be secured for 22 months, but has been destroyed. Have you heard that?

Troubling but not surprising.

There's a certain breed of cynical manipulators, like Rudy and Bannon, who've understood for years that for a lot of people we're way past principle.

That's why you never see them make arguments based on principle, only on resentment and fear.

To that end truth and reality are seen as inconvenient impediments to the goal.

There are also a lot of otherwise well-meaning people who have gotten caught up in their manipulations to the point they see everything as tribal.

What matters is the other side losing, and if we need to sacrifice a little of our integrity to make that happen, so be it.

The other side wants to destroy us so promoting a few lies so we can kill them first is a valid trade-off. We'll stop to worry about our souls after we've smitten our enemies.

My issue is with the manipulators, because they're going down this nihilistic path knowingly and for personal gain, and they won't be there to clean up the mess when they're done.

Thanks, Semimojo. I agree with everything you wrote. I really appreciate your post because sometimes I feel as if I’m the only one on FR who hasn’t completely lost their mind. I’ve been called a lot of things (some not very nice) for trying to make people aware of these issues.

You can see for yourself that the Republican observers leave the room at State Farm arena while absentee ballots are still being counted. Watch the videos at the two links below. In both these videos fast forward to 59:00, which corresponds to 10:44:00PM EST.

View of ballot counting table
The video at this link shows the view of the tables where the ballot counting is being done. There are three poll workers (the two ladies in yellow and Ruby Freeman daughter's, Wandrea Moss) counting ballots. The Republican observers start to walk across the room towards the door at 10:44:55PM and have exited the room twelve seconds later at 10:45:07PM. Notice that ballot counting is taking place this entire time and the workers take little or no notice of the departure of the poll watchers. After media and the poll watchers have the room left ballot counting continues unchanged.

View of poll watchers/media
The video at this link shows the view of the table where media and partisan poll watchers are located. Again, fast forward to 59:00. As in the previous video, this corresponds to 10:44:00PM EST. The two Republican poll watchers are the man in the dark jacket with the pink shirt and the older lady with gray hair in a ponytail.

So we see that ballot counting never stopped. The Republican poll watchers left that room at State Farm Arena of their own accord while absentee ballots were still being counted. This is quite a bit different from the script that we were told by Giuliani and his associates, isn't it?

If the same ballots were recorded multiple times it would show up in an audit.

Having to scan a particular batch several times because one or more of the original ballots didn't scan correctly is normal.

That's the nature of dealing with physical ballots.

What ‘audit’ by an independent group was done in Fulton County? You mean the tripe nonsense put out by Raffensperger about his ‘investigations?’

What poll did you clerk in? I did...and what you describe is nonsense. You don’t rerun stacks of ballots...

Are you saying that in Fulton County if the scanner rejects one ballot out of a scanned batch they don't try to rescan that batch?
