A California deputy district attorney and rising Republican star who slammed vaccine mandates a month ago at a Turning Point USA rally has died from complications of the virus.
Kelly Ernby, 46, died this week after contracting the virus. It is unclear whether or not she was vaccinated.
She spoke at a rally against COVID vaccine mandates at the Irvine City Hall on December 4.

2 people I know died of Covid, neither was vaccinated. Both had other health issues.
Get the vaccine or not, but what happens with or without the vax, is on you.
I really appreciate your even-handed take on vax. I haven’t gotten the vax, and am currently recovering from the WuFlu. It has basically been an extended head cold. Hopefully it continues like this.
A huge problem that we are having as a country is the result of our having destroyed the credibility of almost every institution. In the case of the vaccine, comparing the U.S. to foreign data shows that something isn’t right, and either we are fudging our data, or foreign countries are fudging their data. This discrepancy is true both as to the effectiveness of the vaccine and its risks.
Once you can’t trust institutions, then you are left looking in your own sphere of experience. In my sphere, I know two people dead of COVID, and three dead of clotting issues shortly after receiving the vaccine. I know 1 or 2 additional people hospitalized from COVID, and I know about 6 who were hospitalized from the vaccine, including one 18-yo male with myocardititis, and one 15-ish yo female with Bells palsy followed by a diagnosis of MS.
I wish we could trust our institutions so I could rely on a more complete data set, but I since I can’t, I’m doing the best I can.

Fortunately it is very rare, but this has been happening since the original outbreak in Wuhan. I suspect there is some genetic vulnerability or unknown existing illness/autoimmune condition in some people that just makes them susceptible. By her age and appearance, she should have had no problem with COVID.

Most people here this winter, that are seriously ill with Covid, also have the flu. You can get both at the same time. My doctor told me to get my flu shot but not to worry about getting the Covid vaccine unless I wanted it. I don’t. Having both at the same time has probably been the problem for the last two years.
There are morons on both sides of this issue.

Sad that she played Russian roulette and lost. Hopefully others will learn from her irresponsible decisions. Republican after republican are dying thinking they are medical experts. Sad.

I have friends who worked with her. They say she went into the hospital and never came out.
Speaking of facts, can you tell me what the ingredients in the vaccine are?
Of course if she could not get any early treatment then there you are and we don’t know what she was given in. the hospital but probably nothing.

And no, I'm not going to post patient information. I know you don't believe it, that's your right. Learn what you can, do what you think best.
Remember, hospitals lie constantly now - there are no brakes, no accountability. I went to a hospital recently and they lied to me many times before giving me a prescription that would have killed me if I followed it (I went to another doctor the next day.) The medical system of America has been killed by Democrats.
