There was warning for this storm. It was obvious it would hit the East. The Governor probably screwed up.
[[Meanwhile, it appeared as though Northam was hoping the sun would help melt the snow and clear traffic]]
If the snow is bad enough to strand that many drivers, sun isn’t going to melt it any time soon. Can’t beleive he even said that. You folks in VA elected him?
So did the people who went out in it.
As late as Sunday morning, we were being told 1 - 2”. Predictions didn’t get dire until late. It started furiously overnight, I guess around 4 am. It was mostly done by noon. Added a little up until 3 pm or 4 pm. In Annapolis, we got 10”, the bulk between 4 am and noon.
“..There was warning for this storm. It was obvious it would hit the East....”
One cannot expect the moronic, insane left to listen to just a weather report. IF all it is insane leftists out there, maybe they should be left to deal with their moronic decision-making on their own like the rest of society is forced to do.
Why would people venture out into the storm? If you had to go out, why didn’t you have simple survival gear in your car?
I had read there was a six tractor-triler pile up that started all this. Anyone confirm?
Given the advance warning, how did the governor screw up? Seems to me that the people who screwed up are the ones who decided to ignore the warnings and travel during a major snow storm in motor vehicles that are not equipped for winter travel. Once again, no personal responsibility.
Agreed...
To the idiot, infantile drivers; There is this item named a ‘weather report’ readily available in this modern age of electronic access.
Stranded? Plan ahead you dummies.
