Facebook has suspended the page of Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), an action that came fast on the heels of Twitter permanently banning the Republican congresswoman’s account.
Rep. Greene decried Facebook’s actions in a post on Gab.com, the free speech friendly social network, accusing them of censoring her for critical commentary on the Vaccine Averse Reactions System (VAERS), the official system for reporting negative vaccine side-effects to the government.
“This is beyond censorship of speech,” said Rep. Greene. “I’m an elected Member of Congress representing over 700,000 US tax paying citizens and I represent their voices, values, defend their freedoms, and protect the Constitution.”
“But apparently they too think the CDC managed #VAERS system on our own government websites are misinformation. And to date there has been ZERO investigation into reported Covid deaths from government mandated #covid vaccines.”
“Who appointed Twitter and Facebook to be the authorities of information and misinformation? When Big Tech decides what political speech of elected Members is accepted and what’s not then they are working against our government and against the interest of our people.”
In the Facebook post that resulted in her suspension, Rep. Greene drew attention to the radical changes that have occurred across society since 2020.
“After 2020, we crossed into a new time dating method. BC and AC. Before Covid. After Covid,” Greene wrote. “We are moving into the third year AC.”
Rep. Greene is one of the most popular Republican members of Congress on social media, with hundreds of thousands of followers across multiple platforms. Prior to her ban from Twitter, she had nearly half a million followers on the platform, one of the largest of any Republican representative.

Facebook needs a good Federal @$$ reaming. Any large communications company needs to be forced to engage in freedom of speech, or they need to be wiped out and destroyed.
This nation should not tolerate communications companies that censor American speech.
Then you will have to accept your role as a second class citizen. Be sure to accept responsibility for helping them to bring socialism to the US. After all, by staying there and giving them clicks, you are helping to prop them up.

In the case of Facebook it was a 24 hour freeze. Twitter was a permanent ban.

You can’t vote for Trump either because his team has accounts on Google, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. You can get self-righteous and blame others for websites but the problem is much bigger. It’s going to take decades to fix. How much time and money does social media waste with their so called fact checking? The gays and pedo lovers had no concern about giving their money to the Boy Scouts before they were able to take the organization over. The leftists leaving California and New York for Red states have no concern about spending all their money in those states and they are already established in the Red state capitols and major cities. Understandably no reasonable person wants to deal with the nasty left and their policies. However, Conservatives have to stop giving up territory. You don’t win by running away from the adversary. You win by standing your ground and promoting the principles of freedom no matter how uncomfortable it may be.

But you are not winning anything on facebook or twitter - they only want you there enough to encourage leftists to battle it out with you online - they encourage the two sides to fight it out online, and sell advertising while the idiots on both sides think they are accomplishing anything. You are falling for what is exactly their game plan - the more time you spend on their site, arguing with people or bots - the more money they make. The more money they make, the more powerful they become.
As a conservative, if you actually started getting any traction on either of those platforms, they will simply ban you. As long as you make them more and more money, they will let you play in their sandbox.
