Full Title:

Are some people naturally Covid-proof? Scientists around the world are studying the phenomenon of health workers and others who are regularly exposed to the disease but have yet to become infected

Mounting evidence that people are naturally resistant to Covid and its mutations One theory is that they have previously recovered from different coronaviruses Experts hope they can help create variant-proof vaccine to keep Covid at bay It's a common yet curious tale: a household hit by Covid, but one family member never tests positive or gets so much as a sniffle.

As infections continue to soar in the new Omicron wave – an astonishing one in 25 people in England have Covid, according to Office for National Statistics data – cases of people who managed to stay free of the infection become ever more remarkable. Is it sheer luck? Some kind of superpower?

Now scientists may have an answer: there is mounting evidence that some people are naturally Covid-resistant.

For reasons not fully understood, it's thought that these people were already immune to the Covid virus, and they remain so even as it mutates.

The phenomenon is now the subject of intense research across the world.

I don’t know the difference. I selected the Dihydrate after doing some research on which type is most effective. It’s been about 3 months so I can’t remember all the details.

If you chose the dihydrate you will need to find a little scoop or some way to measure because the brand I have did not come with scoops. I take 500 mg/day and have some 250 mg scoops. I think I found them on ebay for ~$6.00.

On homeless people and the lack of Covid...they basically live their lives out of doors, and in the sunlight. So if you tested them on vitamin D levels....they’d max out. From all of these California videos of the crowd....they all have natural tans, and I think vitamin D is a big part of that story.

Same thing has been said on central Africa...people live their lives primarily in the sun, and vitamin D levels are maxed-out. They also have little to no Covid.

I think a lot of it is having a healthy immune system that is not weakened. I think China designed this to take out people with health problems and the elderly. Covid was Chinas retirement plan for the aged and the sick.

It is not rocket science....they have an effective immune system.

Would not be surprised if all who have no real issues with this 99+% survival rate virus are taking vit D3 ..... and probably vit C, Zinc and Quercetin.

I never get an virus .... 5000iu D3 for s
6 or 7 years, the rest year and a half.

Intersting. Sounds like test interference. Just like fals3 positive, there are false neg. Its usually in the manufacturer’s white papers. All tests must be comfirmed by clinical presentation by the provider for that reason.
If you walked in the door and got a lab result with a potassium of 10.0... doc should know to ask for a repeat.

I just had my yearly blood work done.
My vitamin D level was 73 ng/mL. I take 8,000 i.u. of D3 daily.
I was also tested for sars antibodies which came back negative.
Not a mask wearer and other then being layed up Feb. And March ‘21 due to a knee replacement...have kept working.

Vitamin D, luck, “borrowed time”?...Not sure what to think.

I’d say you’re in great shape and thanks for that info.

I think I’ll increase my D3 intake to 7,000 until spring.

I’d not worry about your “luck” running out.

I don’t know your age but I’ll be 71 in Feb.

This whole “get vaccinated” thing is falling apart on them.

And the vaccine passports is laughable with so many vaxed and boosted getting covid while those with sufficient D-3 levels who also take other supplements are staying healthy.

The older we get the more we have to look out for ourselves and I think we’re doing a pretty good job of that.

My sister teaches (in classroom) and her husband has had COVID twice. She’s been exposed countless times, including riding in a car and sleeping with an infected person and she’s never had a sniffle.

Bromelain is supposed to enhance the effect of the Quercetin, but it is derived from pineapple, so it if you are allergic to pineapple, it would be good to avoid that combination.

Learned that one the hard way.
