On Thursday's The Rachel Maddow Show on MSNBC, fill-in host Ayman Mohyeldin devoted a segment to pushing for President Joe Biden to target the fossil fuel industry without the approval of Congress. Setting up a segment with environmental alarmist Bill McKibben, Mohyeldin blamed recent examples of extreme weather on "climate change" and lamented that Democrats have failed to pass regulations to allegedly address the issue:

These idiots pushing for elimination of fossil fuels need to be forced to live a full year without fossil fuels, or anything produced with or by fossil fuels, or anything transported in or on any vehicle or vessel or aircraft using fossil fuels, or driving or riding in or on anything that required fossil fuels to make. Then maybe they’ll change their tone.
