I knew we would have more notable deaths before the year was out.

The week between Christmas and New Year's can be a perilous time for those deviate greatly from their dietary routines. All those cookies, cakes, pies, egg nog, rich gravies and alcoholic libations.

I lost two close buddies this year, my wife had a heart attack, and my oldest son was on life support day after Christmas. Wife and son are okay. Let this wretched year end already.
