President Biden told David Muir of ABC News, “I wish I had thought about ordering” 500 million at-home tests “two months ago.”

 

Add to the situation that right before Christmas both the CDC and FDA posted guidance that testing was junk and not to be used for patient diagnostic purposes. Also add the current ordeal of the airline industry - they're losing their asses due to the covid tyranny and are probably exerting pressure behind the scenes to change it up. And they're probably not the only industry. The wheels are falling off the covid cart and no spares are available.

We can rip on Biden's record during campaigns. For now, acknowledge that, regardless the motive, he is on the right track.

But don't stop there. Don't concede it is a state level problem. Keep the ball of Freedom rolling downhill... the best solutions for free Americans are at the individual level. NOT state level.

State involvement would be Constitutional in ways not so at the central level. But the best, most American, solution is individual control and medical market freedom.

That statement will haunt him in the OSHA case. He just admitted that a “nationwide” solution is not possible or warranted. The argument will then become; let the states decide what is appropriate for each state to curb the Wuhan virus.

In the spirit of, If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it, the feds will quickly move-in to take credit for any program that works, then begin closely monitoring and supervising the effort, finally, they will throw tax dollars at any effort backed by their cronies but actually killing more people than helping, but hey that’s life for the Party of the People.
