I am in a meeting held by a local right-wing mom’s group. It’s an organization catering to mothers who are bent on protesting at school board meetings to stop the supposedly evil critical race theory agenda from being taught in public schools and address other typically conservative concerns.

All white? OMG, no wonder she was terrified!! Well, it's white kids who are being taught that they are genocidal monsters. So of course it's going to be mostly white parents at meetings like this, fighting against it. Would a parent of color sit by and let their kids be taught that their skin color makes them evil? So why should whites?

That was the right thing to do. We’re a drop in bucket as far as web traffic goes, but we do need to UNDERSTAND the enemy. They’re smart enough to know the same, but our side, I guess, figures they’re no threat and that they’ll ‘outgrow’ their silliness. They’ll have families of their own and live like normal people, because, like us, they’ll only want what’s best for their kids.

For several years now I have been worried about the increasing right-wing views that I have noticed in my demographic (white suburban women). Before 2016, I always thought of Nazis as mainly historical villains that belonged in Indiana Jones movies or old news reels or the sad stories my grandfather told me. Now, however, as the last Holocaust survivors are dying, I am aware that fascism is creeping back into the world at large in terrifying ways.
I always thought pedophilia or racism were not a Jewish or liberal value. Now we know that are??

Sooner or later the other symptoms of the sickness come out. She’s a leftist. So people who disagree with her views are Dangerous and Frightening. But stalking and spying on them in their private associations is not Dangerous or Frightening. It’s sanctified by the fact that THEY were Dangerous and Frightening first. She’s a Merry Misandrist. So of course she has a little boy in her claws.
The more I hear from people these days, the gladder I am that I have a door to lock and better things to do than dealing with them.
