I was just watching a composite of some surveillance video of the 10 December tornado as it struck a bank building. AY YI YI!!!! It was really fast: At first all is quiet and then you see the plate-glass moving in and out. Really creepy. Then stuff starts tossing a little in the front entry, then in the bank lobby. Then the lights go out and then in just a second or two: WHAM. I guess everything in the building was totally destroyed.

In another article, all seven members of a KY family were killed; they just found one of the kids' bodies yesterday.

Lecture us about climate change some more, Democrat socialists.

Thank you God for saving these babies. It is absolutely despicable that the left used this tragedy to rant about climate change. We live on a dynamic planet. Get over it!!

I heard this story days ago. The little girl said she was flying in the tornado then it dropped her in a mud puddle or something like that.

I remember my parents putting us kids in the bathtub, with a mattress on top during tornadoes in OK. Luckily, our house never got a direct hit.

I still remember the Dec 5, 1975 tornado that ripped through Tulsa OK. Luckily no one was killed. It was during THE COMING ICE AGE scare.

I was at work, the wife had the kids and friends all pile into the bathtub, then pulled a mattress over them all.

Your plate glass moving in and out brings to mind my experience in late one August in Champaign, Illinois. I was just leaving our library which was in the southwest corner of our building complex. I believe it was because of threatening weather. The south side of the building had a row of offices south of the hall way, but one could see the fairly large windows through the open office doors. I saw what you described as the plate-glass moving in and out. There was no damage where I was but we had some glass breakage in very large windows in a north-south hallway separating two buildings in our complex and some window damage among cars parked close to our building from gravel blowing off of our flat roof. A building under construction about a block east of us had their unsecured air conditioning units blown off of their roof, but little other damage seemed to be recorded. Latter I explored and found a straight line path of about 10 corn rows off a few miles to the west. It was likely an F1 or less.
